Lukas 5 (disingkat Luk 5) adalah pasal kelima Injil Lukas pada Perjanjian Baru dalam Alkitab Kristen. Disusun oleh Lukas, seorang Kristen yang merupakan teman seperjalanan Rasul Paulus.[2][3]

Ayat 4

Setelah selesai berbicara, Ia [Yesus] berkata kepada Simon: "Bertolaklah ke tempat yang dalam dan tebarkanlah jalamu untuk menangkap ikan."[4]

Ayat ini hanya terdapat dalam Injil Lukas. Di sini Yesus Kristus yang dikenal sebagai tukang kayu, memberi pelajaran kepada Simon Petrus, seorang penjala ikan, cara untuk mendapatkan ikan setelah semalam-malaman para nelayan gagal memperoleh ikan. Hal inilah yang memberi kesan mendalam pada diri Petrus dan murid-murid lain yang seprofesi dengan Petrus. Petrus, Andreas, Yohanes dan Yakobus sebelumnya telah bertemu Yesus di Yudea, menurut catatan Injil Yohanes, tetapi pertemuan di danau Genesaret inilah yang mendorong mereka untuk meninggalkan pekerjaan dan mengikut Yesus ke manapun Ia pergi dan menjadi rasul-rasul-Nya.[5]

Ayat 26

Semua orang itu takjub, lalu memuliakan Allah, dan mereka sangat takut, katanya: "Hari ini kami telah menyaksikan hal-hal yang sangat mengherankan."[6]

Ayat 39

[Yesus berkata:] Dan tidak seorangpun yang telah minum anggur tua ingin minum anggur yang baru, sebab ia akan berkata: Anggur yang tua itu baik."[7]

Kalimat ini tidak dicatat dalam Injil Matius maupun Injil Markus. Barangkali ini merupakan perkataan yang ironis tentang orang Yahudi yang menolak "anggur baru" Injil dan berpendapat bahwa "anggur tua" (Yudaisme abad pertama) itu cukup baik. Di sini Yesus mengemukakan bahwa mereka yang terbiasa meminum anggur yang telah difermentasi memperoleh keinginan untuknya dan tidak mau anggur yang belum difermentasi. Tuhan mengakui bahwa minuman yang mengandung alkohol mempunyai pengaruh yang membuat orang kecanduan. Bukannya Yesus, tetapi orang yang minum anggur tua itulah yang beranggapan "yang tua itu baik".[8]

  • 1) Tidak boleh ditafsirkan bahwa ayat ini menyatakan "anggur tua" (yaitu, Yudaisme) itu lebih baik daripada "anggur yang baru" (yaitu, Injil Kristus), sebab dengan demikian kita akan membalikkan arti perumpamaan ini. Yang dikatakan Yesus ialah bahwa orang Farisi dan para pengikut mereka bahkan tidak akan mengenal manfaat anggur yang baru. Mereka merasa bahwa "yang tua itu" sudah cukup baik. Orang Farisi lebih suka penafsiran para rabi mengenai hukum Taurat daripada anggur manis yang murni dan baru dari Injil Kristus.
  • 2) Orang Farisi tidak ingin minum "anggur yang terbaik". Mereka menolak untuk menerima penyataan yang baru mengenai Allah dan sebaliknya mencari hanya hal-hal yang telah diubah oleh manusia (yaitu, difermentasi). Namun bagi mereka yang menerima Yesus, air buah anggur yang baru (Injil) itu lebih disukai daripada anggur tua yang difermentasi (agama Farisi).[8]
