Moving to mainspacePlease move Draft:L2: Empuraan to mainspace as the film has started principal photography. L2: Empuraan is salted. It is a highly anticipated film in the Malyalam film industry, that's why several articles were created by different editors. There is also another Draft:L2:Empuraan, I don't know what to do about that. Please check if there is anymore parallels. Thank you for viewing the article Max Vityk I wanted to ask you for help in solving a question related to the article, which arose due to my inexperience. If possible, of course. I accidentally posted an article about Max Vityk in the Ukrainian Wikipedia, because of which it was already indexed in search engines with an English name. The article was in English and was naturally removed from space. Now, the article in the Ukrainian Wikipedia was already correctly designed and posted with correct name, but the English version does not appear when searching in the search engine, and the deletion in the Ukrainian with the same name appears. What can be done to correct English version starts to appear on request, and not a non-existent page? I will be very grateful for the answer and help, because in the future I will work on many articles and so that such mistakes do not occur again. Thank you very much, I wish you a nice evening! Speedy deletion nomination of Eicosatetraeonic acidA tag has been placed on Eicosatetraeonic acid requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. RFA2024 update: no longer accepting new proposals in phase IHey there! This is to let you know that phase I of the 2024 requests for adminship (RfA) review is now no longer accepting new proposals. Lots of proposals remain open for discussion, and the current round of review looks to be on a good track towards making significant progress towards improving RfA's structure and environment. I'd like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has given us their idea for change to make RfA better, and the same to everyone who has given the necessary feedback to improve those ideas. The following proposals remain open for discussion:
To read proposals that were closed as unsuccessful, please see Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review/Phase I/Closed proposals. You are cordially invited once again to participate in the open discussions; when phase I ends, phase II will review the outcomes of trial proposals and refine the implementation details of other proposals. Another notification will be sent out when this phase begins, likely with the first successful close of a major proposal. I'm a beginner and spent months preparing an article for Wikipedia. I then spent hours reworking it in response to comments from your editors. Even if you won't restore it then please can you email me a copy of the edited version just prior to deletion so that all my hard work (and that of the reviewers) is not wasted. I had a comment on my citations from a Wikipedia editor, and asked the editor for clarification and advice. A few minutes later my article was recommended for speedy deletion. It was then speedy deleted before I had a chance to do anything. I had quoted in this article from sources that I have obtained copyright from (both the author and the University). I understand the issue was over a copyright infringement I had by quoting an Independent article. I didn't quote anything from the Independent. I only cited an obituary about the scientist. To be honest, I'm still no entirely clear why it was deleted so quickly. So if you can also help advise on this then that would be appreciated. But first and foremost I would like to get a copy of the article before deletion. Some information has been retrieved but it is only a tiny part of what was there. Thank you. File:International Table Soccer Federation logo.pngHi Graeme. Do you think File:International Table Soccer Federation logo.png needs to be split? It was originally uploaded as {{Non-free logo}} and then recently updated by the same uploader. Both versions seem to be too simple to be eligible for copyright protection per c:COM:TOO US, though I'm not sure about c:COM:TOO France; so, I relicensed the file as {{PD-ineligible-USonly}}. The older version was actually tagged for deletion per WP:F5, but now that's probably not necessary. Since the source url wasn't changed when the logo was updated, I assuming the older version can probably be seen on a previous version of the ITSF's official website. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:33, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

It appears that there was an old, deleted draft at a different title created by a blocked user. It appears that the blocked editor moved the draft to the other title and then end-around history "merged" the old into the new via this undeletion request: Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion/Archive 379#Draft:Interior Chinatown, before moving it back to the original title. As the content in those edits was totally WP:PARALLEL and not used in the creation of the new draft (Special:Diff/1115891159, and the user was subsequently blocked, would you consider either history splitting those edits (up to 26 March 2022) back where they came from at Draft:Interior Chinatown, or just re-deleting them? I came to request here since you were the un-deleting admin. Either way, thank you for your consideration. Regards, 2pou (talk) 00:54, 16 July 2024 (UTC)

First, looking at the page history, you have to go back to the last human edit. I think you were just looking at the last edit to the draft and those were by bots so they don't count. Also, since these are drafts from May 2024, there might be an hour's time difference if you live in a country that observes Daylight Savings Time. I'm in the U.S. where we have DST and so the deletion time from six months ago is an hour later than it was 6 months ago so you have to account for that, too. Finally, DreamRimmer has a bot report that issues a list of drafts eligible for CSD G13 tagging. If it was a newbie editor, like it usually is with this issue, I'd question the tagging, too, but DreamRimmer's report is quite accurate so I'd trust them. Sorry this is a bit overly complicated but that's the way it is with G13s. I'd like to thank you though for giving them a thorough review which doesn't always happen with CSD-tagged pages. Have a great weekend! Liz Read! Talk! 16:55, 23 November 2024 (UTC)

The most recent version uploaded seems too simple per c:COM:TOO US to be eligible for copyright protection; so, I converted the file's licensing from non-free to PD. I didn't notice, however, that the originally uploaded version of the logo is different. The older version might also be PD, but I'm not sure. If it is, the file might need to be split; if, on the other hand, it isn't, the older version would needed to be deleted per F5. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:08, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
I wonder how this happened?Take a look at User talk:Nationalpress. See how the unblock request is inside the block notice? The user didn't do that -- and so far I haven't figured out how to get it out of it. It's not the content of the unblock request; try editing https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Nationalpress&oldid=1257825793 and you'll see that anything you append to the page ends up inside the block notice too. User overwriting filesHi Graeme. Would you mind taking a look at User talk:AADITH KRISHNA#Poster uploads? This user keeps overwriting existing files and has yet to respond when being queried as to why. The files seem completely different in most cases, but they just could be different versions of the same poster. Even assuming the user means well, the overwriting has been reverted in many cases by another user which means there probably needs to be some discussion about this somewhere. I only noticed this because the new uploads have been showing up in Special:NewFiles. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:32, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
Notability guidelines for chemicals and drugsGreetings, Graeme Bartlett! I have come across many articles of drugs under investigation or obscure phsychoactive substances at AfC, many of which fails the WP:SECONDARY requirement at WP:GNG. I see some users like User talk:Mo18ekula, User talk:174.66.87.253, User talk:76.174.0.57 creating a huge influx of obsure drug-related stubs, many of which may be subject to WP:TOOSOON. I understand the niche topics can only find primary sources to cite, but if we were to create one article per investigational or developmental drug, there would be lots and lots of them. I was thinking if you may help express your ideas on creating some subject-specific notability guidelines for chemicals and drugs. Thank you! Pygos (talk) 11:43, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
