Disambiguation link notification for February 7Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Elin Pelin Point, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bulgarian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:49, 7 February 2024 (UTC) Hi!Just wanted to say hi, I noticed we were both working on User:Uhai/Pages_without_short_descriptions_by_view_count when I was about to add an SD to an article on the list and saw you already did so before the bot updated the page. Short descriptionsHey there, I wanted to ask: what do you feel is the utility of a short description like the one on Foreign relations of China? I realize I might've spent today undoing a lot of your work, and I want to cool it immediately if I'm not helping. Remsense诉 12:30, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Cheers, Number 57 00:13, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
Re: matches against PortugalNot a problem if there was a mistake, but the row for Portugal in the table now reads: played 2, won 2, lost 1. Please clarify and adjust as appropriate, making sure that the totals at the foot of the columns are also consistent. Thanks. Ehrenkater (talk) 16:43, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Short descriptions of booksI have had to replace several new short descriptions of books you have added that say only that the book is by somebody or other. That is useless as a short description. If the book comes up in a mobile search, readers are going to see that short description and be uninformed. Say what the book is about, not who wrote it. —David Eppstein (talk) 15:49, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
Short Description on Iowa TownshipHi. I modified your short description on Iowa Township, Marshall County, Iowa to read "none" per WP:SDNONE. I wanted to draw your attention to it for your future reference or, if I was mistaken, so you can let me know so I don't make messes by erroneously changing the short description. Thanks for your work! EducatedRedneck (talk) 19:41, 15 July 2024 (UTC)

Tagging pages for speedy deletionHello, 1ctinus, Please do not blank a page after you tag if for speedy deletion. A patrolling admin needs to see why it was tagged and removing all of the content prevents that from happening. Liz Read! Talk! 00:35, 23 July 2024 (UTC) A barnstar for you!
ConsolidatingHi, When consolidating political articles please ensure all appropriate information is transfered to the consolidation page. For the consolidated article on Alexandria's mayoral election's, only the information regarding the Democratic primary was transfered to the consolidated version. I have already re-added information for the general election and the corresponding map, but from now on please all information is moved during consolidation so no more time is wasted re-adding information. Thanks! In this edit, the short description ended up with an invisible nbsp character that needed to be fixed. If you have control over this tool, can you please persuade it to use regular space characters? – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:17, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:08, 26 August 2024 (UTC) Edit summary CivilityHello, Just noticed your edit on Dead Internet Theory. The page is still under construction, and a lot of the "see also" section is stuff that is hoped to be worked into the main article in the future but lacks adequate citations at the moment. We may need an internet culture infobox to make the list a bit shorter. I trimmed it to 10 links from 16 though. This comment is regarding your edit summary however. The comment when you added the template, "jesus," had me a bit confused for a bit as we do have mention of "Shrimp Jesus" on the page. When I realized that it was your comment on the content of the section however, I decided to drop by and leave a message. Wikipedia:Civility states that edit summaries should "Be clear about what you did, so that other editors can assess your changes accurately," "Use neutral language," and "Don't make snide comments," among other things. I don't think your edit summary met this criteria, but may be wrong and misunderstanding how you intended the comment to be read. Just thought I'd let you know how it came off to me, so you could be aware for future edit summaries and avoid any misunderstandings in the future. GeogSage (⚔Chat?⚔) 16:45, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
DYK for Grant NelOn 16 September 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Grant Nel, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Grant Nel, at the age of nine, switched from gymnastics to diving after breaking both of his hands? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Grant Nel. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Grant Nel), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. It's especially unhelpful to give the same short description to dozens of articles that already have clear and unambiguous titles. The appropriate short description for article titles like those is "none". See WP:SDNONE. Quale (talk) 09:16, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
