Clarissa Harlowe Barton (25 Desember 1821 – 12 April 1912) adalah seorang perawat Amerika Serikat yang mendirikan Palang Merah Amerika Serikat. Ia merupakan perawat rumah sakit pada Perang Saudara Amerika, guru, dan pramuniaga paten. Meskipun pendidikan perawatan tidaklah sangat diformalisasi dan ia tak pernah masuk sekolah perawatan, ia belajar sendiri cara perawatan.[1] Barton dikenal karena karya kemanusiaan dan advokasi hak sipil pada masa sebelum wanita memiliki hak pemilu.[2] Ia masuk dalam National Women's Hall of Fame pada 1973.[3]
