Autopatrolled grantedHi Fgnievinski, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Mike (talk) 00:09, 10 October 2020 (UTC) WikiProject Rocketry invitation

Cepstrum questionF, you put "*computation of the logarithm of the spectral amplitude (directly as a complex value or indirectly in terms of its absolute square, real part, or complex argument)". I don't understand. Sure nobody would use the logarithm of the real part of the complex spectral amplitude, would they? And what does "complex argument" mean here? The argument is the phase of the amplitude, right? That's already a logarithm (the imaginary part of the complex logarithm); not something you'd take a logarithm of. Maybe the "its" refers sometimes to the spectral amplitude, and sometimes to the logarithm? If I understood the intent, I could help fix it. Dicklyon (talk) 17:59, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
Merge proposalsHi, I've noticed that the merge proposal backlog in WP:WikiProject Astronomy lists several of your split proposals (Nutation, List of common misconceptions, Magnetosphere), two of which are more than three months old. The reason why your split proposals haven't received any response is because you have not started any discussion in the articles' respective talk pages. Splitting an article does not work by simply tagging a section; please see WP:SPLIT for additional information on splitting articles. TechnicalityPlease re-read WP:TECHNICAL, which is one of the key criteria for a good article. Euclidean distance is a concept studied in secondary school, so the bulk of the article and especially its lead needs to be understandable to that audience. Putting in technical content about metric spaces, early in the article, is a bad idea. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". D.Lazard (talk) 16:57, 11 March 2023 (UTC) Citation overkillA recent edit of yours to Root locus analysis added 9 citations to the page, all to verify a single sentence. This is citation WP:OVERKILL, resulting in an article that's more difficult to read. Is there a particular reason this many are required (in which case they could be merged into one larger citation) or would it be better to trim them down? The challenged notability of "Spirule" doesn't seem like it requires more than one or two sources, though I agree that the manual is poor for establishing notability due to being a primary source rather than a secondary one. Leaving in just "Engineering Systems and Automatic Control" seems fine, as it mentions the Spirule being "widely used". Randi Moth (talk) 19:44, 12 March 2023 (UTC)

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 07:55, 8 September 2024 (UTC) Vector quantityHi Fgnievinski. On 2024, September 8 you created what was effectively a new article at Vector quantity. See your diff. It is a relatively small and not-yet-mature article. Over the next 25 minutes you edited a number of redirects so that the redirect target was no longer Euclidean vector but, instead, was your new article Vector quantity. Those edits include Free vector, Bound vector, Physical vector, Vector (physics), Vector (classical mechanics), Sliding vector, and Vector physical quantity. Vector quantity is inappropriate as a redirect target for these important titles and concepts in physics. The article is small and only a day old. I have rated it as stub class. Seeing you clearly object to the article Euclidean vector as the redirect target, a more appropriate target is the excellent article at Vector (mathematics and physics). Interestingly, there is an existing redirect for Vector (physics and mathematics) which takes the reader to Vector (mathematics and physics). Why would the redirect for Vector (physics) take the reader to a different target article than the one for Vector (physics and mathematics)? I have amended the redirect for Vector (physics) to change the target to Vector (mathematics and physics). I will leave the others for you to amend. Your new article at Vector quantity is a stub class article. Please do not use it as a redirect target. Instead, please use either Vector (mathematics and physics) or Euclidean vector. Thank you.
