@Lolaloud125: Hi there. I just thought it was best to keep the wording concise, especially since we're dealing with the lead paragraph of the article. No ill intent obviously and I greatly appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia so far! Troutfarm27(Talk)07:58, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Is this someone that used to go by Rahfu? If not, terribly sorry for bothering you, but if so, I've heard you know something about an old Neopets user called eon337. I'd like to hear what you know about them, and I'd like to share what I've found with you. Can we talk? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theredglowbox (talk • contribs) 07:06, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, in retrospect, don't think you'd recognize that even if you were them. I'm talking about eon337/"Jenny", creator of the longest text ever. Just double-checking, are you sure you aren't the person named Rahfu in the comment section of this YouTube video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57N0u4b5M_YRedG (talk) 08:12, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hm. Well, sorry for bothering you. I was following an old, deleted draft of a Wikipedia page on Jesse Ridgway. I know that person worked on that page late 2016-early 2017, and you were the only person I could see interacting with the page in that timespan. Maybe I just didn't read the logs correctly. Thanks for the response. Seeya. RedG (talk) 08:20, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's reverted now. I assume it was a mis-click. Let me know if you find any issues with my comments. Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 23:41, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This award is given to Troutfarm27 for 60 reviews in the July NPP backlog reduction drive. Your contributions played a part in the 9895 reviews that took place during the drive. Thank you for your contributions. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 08:54, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Here is a barnstar to show appreciation for the NPP reviews you did back in 2020. We realize this is late, but NPP fell behind in some coordination activities. We are just getting caught up. If you don't want to receive "old" barnstars, please just ignore this and reply (with a ping) to let us know not to send you any more. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 03:19, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please look at an article's page history for tagging it for deletion. The only reason this page was an "empty article" is because another editor blanked the page which is not an appropriate reaction for when you disagree with a redirect. The page should be nominated at WP:RFD, not blanked. So, I reverted the edit and didn't delete the page. I just wanted to let you know why. Some times, you need to look into an articles history and not just take it at face value of its current appearance. Thank you! LizRead!Talk!07:31, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This award is given to Troutfarm27 for collecting more than 5 points doing reviews and re-reviews, in the October NPP backlog reduction drive. Thank you for your contributions. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 08:37, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As discussed many other times. Acuña is definitely deserving of the title world champion. The point of him not being on the post season roster is insane. In the same breath we have jake odorizzi listed as a champion for the Astro's when he never appeared in a post season game with them but did with the Braves.
It’s crazy to me acuna being listed a champion was and is watched so carefully and closely but jake odorizzi page isn’t and has be like that for some time.
Stop the bull crap and just add it to acuna’s wiki obviously this is biased and flawed. If the player gets a ring that has the words champion on it from the team how can wiki writer say otherwise? 76.238.229.186 (talk) 03:55, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well thanks for bringing up Jake Odorizzi's article up, I went ahead and fixed that. We're not disputing the fact that they get/deserve a physical ring, but that's just how things go here on Wiki. Troutfarm27(Talk)07:12, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. The primary issue with the article is if it meets Wikipedia's general notability guidelines. In other words, per the notice above the page, you need to show that it is notable by providing "reliable secondary sources that are independent of the topic and provide significant coverage of it beyond a mere trivial mention." If you are unable to do that, then unfortunately the topic may not be notable enough to qualify for its own Wikipedia article at this time. Troutfarm27(Talk)17:46, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Mniak2: I'm turning off your help request for now. Either you intended to ask for help from Troutfarm27 or you misunderstood what the template is for. When you ask for help, please make a statement about what you want help with. Empty help requests do not move things along. — jmcgnh(talk)(contribs)01:41, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sportskeeda
Hi, I'm kinda new to this and just wanted to ask about whether you thought sportskeeda was a reliable source? I'm not sure if this is the right place to do this either so sorry if it isn't. Thanks Fulankf (talk) 20:27, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. You can check out what other people have said about Sportskeeda here. Personally, it's a bit of a mixed bag because some of the articles on there are written by their own writers and are well researched and fact-checked, but other articles on there are either covering unencyclopedic topics or written by outsiders without as much vetting. Troutfarm27(Talk)02:09, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. I found the perennial sources page here and its been really useful. Thanks for your respsonse. I don't think my article was a good source, probably cyclical. Fulankf (talk) 09:53, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.
You have been trouted for: Thanks for correcting the "was" on Ippei's page + providing the reason why. Grammatically, that makes a lot of sense. You did the right thing, but trouting you seemed amusing -- thanks again :) I still have plenty to learn Col99100 (talk) 22:14, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Potential Mistake
There appears to be a potential error in your decision to revert my edit on Jimmy Butler's Wikipedia page. The news came from official sources (NBA News, ESPN, Multiple Reliable Insiders) and shortly after, was confirmed by the teams themselves. The news was already confirmed by the teams by the time I made the edit to Butler's Wikipedia, this can be seen as a potential error, however, it is completely alright. The edit has already been redone by multiple users on Wikipedia and I don't really care for the revert anymore. Thank you and have an awesome week! Thanks for reaching out. As of the time of this reply, the trade still hasn't been announced by the Warriors nor the Heat. Whenever you see trade headlines like this, they actually translate to "Team A and B have agreed in principle." They're still filling out all the paperwork and until everything is signed and finalized, there's always that slim possibility that a trade can fall through. See WP:SPORTSTRANS for more info as to why we do this and for examples of failed trades. Troutfarm27(Talk)21:57, 6 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
