Date format

I see you have changed my correction of the date format on Otzma Yehudit. We have a manual of style on date formats (WP:MOSDATE) and they must be either "19 July 2017" or "July 19, 2017"; you cannot use "19th". Please could you correct it. Thanks, Number 5 7 23:39, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for informing me, however I can't edit the page anymore since the user access level required to has been changed, no doubt that it was an attempt by a bias editor (proof in the fact that the sources used are known for being bias.) in an attempt to try and silence any sort of attempt to make Wikipedia less biased. Hello Shimon. When writing dates on Wikipedia, please don't use informal contractions like "Jan 4" – you need to spelling it out in full. Social Exclusion

Yay and hello User:ShimonChai, I applaud your effort and time to make the article Social exclusion a better one so as to inform the world properly. However, editing so much in different parts of the article at a go was not too good. Other editors, like I watching the page would have loved it if you made the edits section by section and gave a summary of your edit each time.

My grounds for making such drastic edits all at wants were at they were all unsourced or pov, which to my understand means that they can be removed. No Shimon, I would not revert your edits. I don't believe in undoing people's efforts at the convenience of a click from my armchair. What you did was the best for the article. This article is being used by sociologists, social workers and activists all over the world and they would be thankful for this. But this is a collaborative work, breaking your edits into batches or similar actions and summarizing each rather than combining it all is good team work because you, we can't be all right on some things that look so. We do that by finding high quality secondary sources and summarizing what they say, giving WP:WEIGHT as they do. Please do not try to build content by synthesizing content based on primary sources.
Please use high-quality, recent, secondary sources for medical content (see WP:MEDRS; for the difference between primary and secondary sources, see the WP:MEDDEF section.) High-quality sources include review articles (which are not the same as peer-reviewed), position statements from nationally and internationally recognized bodies (like CDC, WHO, FDA), and major medical textbooks. Lower-quality sources are typically removed. Please beware of predatory publishers – check the publishers of articles (especially open source articles) at Beall's list.
The ordering of sections typically follows the instructions at WP:MEDMOS. The section above the table of contents is called the WP:LEAD. It summarizes the body. Do not add anything to the lead that is not in the body. Style is covered in MEDMOS as well; we avoid the word "patient" for example.
We don't use terms like "currently", "recently," "now", or "today". See WP:RELTIME.

2017 Women's March

maybe a couple of words should be added that explain how this alleged conversation affected the Women's March. I think that would be an improvement, because currently that is unclear so people who read the article don't know if the alleged conversation is relevant to the march. i sure didnt.

I dont think its an editwar, I remove something and ask for evidence, first you put it back saying there is evidence but you don't show it, so i remove it and then I add it back in after you post evidence.

With subjects like these we should always be very careful.

do you think that it would be a good idea to add something to the article that explains how this affected the march (bad press/other groups distancing themselves).

When i read about a link to the NOI I started to understand the allegation better because the NOI is openly antisemitic; for people who don't know about that link the allegation is rather surprising (and bizarre).

The reason I brought up that rule was strictly because you reverted my revert of removal of sourced content in dispute, before WP:CON was met.. Generally speaking, removing Wikipedia:Reliable sources requires some sort of consensus especially when the initial removal is reverted. Though I agree that better citations could have been used later on. When the Tablet section was initially added shortly after the event occurred the initial impact of the report itself was what was being covered, and not the impact on the Women's March as a whole, and on a local level, and in that respect the article is fairly outdated.

However, the section was entitled "Organizers" which mostly deals with the Organizers specifically, and the articles cited were talking about the organizers within the context of the Womens March as the main focus of the article, for instance "Women’s March Roiled by Accusations of Anti-Semitism", well it does focus on the Organizers specifically (the topic of that section of the article.), It was talking about them within the wider context of them being leaders of the Women's March, and not as separate from that. Though you are correct, I should have started off by responding to you by linking citations on how it was impacting the wider movement at large.

Yes, I completely agree that it would be a good idea to expand upon that section further due to more recent coverage that has gone more in depth on how the controversy has changed and impacted the Women's March as a movement. before you posted evidence it seemed like that paragraph gave undue attention to a very serious (and bizarre) allegation against two individuals in an article about an event attended by thousands of people, that is why i removed it and only put it back after i had read the evidence. I spend some time reading about the allegations and there are facebook posts talking about the NOI which is an organization that believes that "the" white man is the devil and that "the" jews are responsible for all things they believe to be bad (not just the slave trade (which is bad), but for example also homosexuality (which is neutral)). So in that context the allegations are way more believable. The fact that the DNC and the SPLC and local groups distanced themselves from the national group is important information because it shows that this is not just a random allegation against some individuals without any consequences but something that had a huge impact on the organisation as a whole. Please think about how we can explain this in the article; I will do the same. Libby Kane (talk)
