Hi EvergreenFir,

I noticed you remove the summary of convictions element of this article per Wiki policy. There is currently a discussion on the talk page on whether to retain this section and in what form, I think we would appreciate your input on it. Thanks! Xii Xii 12:33, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

SPI

Hi - I just handled the SPI case you raised for TRAFFICLIGHTWP. I moved it over to EXIT SIGN WORLD, to reflect the oldest account I found. One thing occurred to me after I closed the case however - you included Blooket.co in the report, which was blocked for spam by Cullen328 back in September. Was there any particular reason to suspect them, other than the overlap between one of the socks and their deleted draft? They're stale anyway, so I haven't tagged them or modified their block, just wondered if you'd seen something I missed. Cheers Girth Summit (blether) 17:11, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Girth Summit I think it was the edit overlap with The Stop Sign ([1]) and that this user does GHBH, so i assumed that the page creator was the bad hand. Looking again I see that doesn't seem to be the case. Thank you for handling that! EvergreenFir (talk) 17:33, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Query on remove or placement of post

I saw you remove a post at talk:Denali that said they wanted it moved to McKinley. Usually I would do the same but it got me to thinking. Did it deserve removing or was it simply placed in the wrong location? Couldn't it have been moved into the requested move section instead of a removal of the post? It seems a better fit to me but perhaps we aren't allowed to do that? Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 00:59, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Fyunck(click) feel free to revert me I don't mind. I don't think you should move it though because then you would be adding a !vote EvergreenFir (talk) 01:00, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It was just a question and I'll do nothing as you know the system better than I. It just got me to thinking that perhaps, since there is a current open poll of "move or not move", and this poster (during that poll period) said they want it moved, that perhaps it should go in the poll section rather than a removal. They may not know the exact way Wikipedia works. Cheers. Fyunck(click) (talk) 01:06, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Might want to yank TPA? Thanks. Three Sixty! (talk, edits) 20:40, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese translation

Detective Conan Episode 437 (04:43). Even if semi-covered by a picture, can you help me to translate in English the Japanese words which are visible on that book's two pages? You can write it in my talk page. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.40.238.82 (talk) 10:40, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please, can you do it? Thank you very much. 87.7.224.50 (talk) 17:36, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mazie Hirono Edits

Hello - I wanted to ask why my paragraph on Mazie Hirono was removed. Her intelligence has been a major conversation topic online and in the media over the past few weeks. I believe it is directly relevant to her page to state this, while making clear that is just an opinion. 68.72.84.97 (talk) 15:28, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I answered on your used talk page. Here a copy of what I had written:
We are not news and don't aim to reflect the current trends or topics online. In fact, we try to avoid those thing (WP:10Y). One way to think of is ask yourself if "if this was a printed encyclopedia, like Britannica, would I include this info and spend the ink and paper to do that? Is it that important?". In Hirono's case, it's not. Additionally, we have rules about biographies of living people and we don't include negative information unless it's important and a reliable secondary source says it. Giving examples of the discussions is not sufficient. The IQ stuff with Hirono is just gossip about a living person and not encyclopedic. EvergreenFir (talk) 18:35, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
