Welcome!Welcome to Wikipedia, LLRungegordon! Thank you for your contributions. I am Wgolf and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Wgolf (talk) 17:37, 4 March 2015 (UTC) These are helpful links. Thank you for sharing. I am excited about the discoveries that lie ahead. Co-op MentorHey Laura, my name is Jethro. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for creating your profile at the Co-op! I wanted to introduce you to your mentor, Calliopejen1. She's done a lot of fantastic writing here and will definitely be able to help you out in creating articles about early women writers. She'll swing by here soon. I also made a few minor adjustments to your profile, namely fixing the image and renaming the page to reflect your username. Thanks again! I, JethroBT drop me a line 22:50, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
Hi there! Thanks for contributing your time to learning contributing to Wikipedia through mentorship at The Co-op. The Co-op is actually a very new project on Wikipedia, and you've been a great help in helping us improve it so far. We want to get your feedback on your use of the Co-op in addition to your experience with your mentor and editing Wikipedia generally. When you are able, please take the Qualtrics survey here to give us your feedback. With your help, we can make the Co-op and mentorship helpful for different needs, and expand the space for many editors to use. Thanks for your help, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:44, 27 March 2015 (UTC) Use of Category tags in your sandboxHi LLRungegordon. It's good to see that you're experimenting with Wikipedia, in particular doing so in your sandbox. However, when you did so you copied the category tags into your sandbox too, which meant that your sandbox showed up in those categories which are only meant to have main-space articles in them. This is a very common mistake, and not anything to worry about. I just thought I'd leave a message when editing someone else's sandbox. Thanks. Banak (talk) 04:13, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
Link for the ABO Edit-a-thon pageHere is the link to the page I created for the Edit-a-thon: Grants:PEG/User:LLRungegordon/Wikipedia edit-a-thon for the Aphra Behn Society. At first, the article was tagged for deletion. I removed the tag and am in the process of talking with another editor to make sure that the article is not deleted. Beachmirage (talk) 03:54, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
More ways to publicize your edit-a-thonI just responded to your message at Wikipedia talk:Meetup. Just wanted to drop you a note here saying that a couple more ways to get attention for your edit-a-thon would be to post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Women writers and/or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Women's History. Some people who hang out there might be able to help edit (probably virtually) or to help suggest articles in need of editing, if you would like ideas. You are invited to Café Chocolate!Come to my Café! It's got food & drinks! What do you want? Are you hungry? I seem a bit hungry for digital food... well, reply to me if you want to come! Gotta take orders now! The cafe is here.ScarlettCoffee (talk) 02:54, 2 October 2015 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for November 5Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aphra Behn, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Astrea. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:35, 5 November 2015 (UTC) Women in Red membershipHi there, Laura. I'm really pleased to see you've become a member of Women in Red, particularly as you use Wikipedia in your courses and take a special interest in 18th-century British authors. Please let us know on our talk page if you encounter any problems or any serious shortcomings in our coverage of the articles you use in your teaching. If you find any authors or related topics without Wikipedia articles, you may like to make a start on new articles yourself. We could all help you along. It would also be great to see some of your students joining us. Just drop me a line if ever you need further assistance.--Ipigott (talk) 10:44, 20 October 2017 (UTC) November editathons from Women in Red: Join us!

Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page.
