Z1720 (talk) 00:04, 30 June 2024 (UTC) Some photo helpHi, Innisfree! I'm currently working on a draft for Grace Lavery, who is married to Daniel M. Lavery. I noticed that you were involved in photo-related shenanigans for that article in years past and was wondering if you had any insight on obtaining a photo for Grace? I wanted to ask ahead of time before I finish the draft, just to see if we can dig a good photo up beforehand. SilverserenC 17:06, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
As an aside, the inability to access Newspapers.com right now is quite vexing, because there's likely some extra information, maybe even background info, on Lavery that could be found there. But the entire system is down right now. And I can't really delay on moving the article into mainspace. Oh well. Z1720 (talk) 00:50, 16 September 2024 (UTC) I reverted your Lowry editThere's a discussion in the Rich Lowry talk page at the moment about his recent slur usage, and a few editors are wanting to opt for removing the content altogether due to BLP concerns. I'm trying for a pointless delicate balance for inclusion, because even though it's obvious to anyone that he said it, it is a recent event with BLP concerns and there isn't a reputable media consensus backing up that he did actually say what we all heard, so inclusion at the moment favors weaker statements that don't definitively represent that he said it. So, I reverted your perfectly good edit, wikilawyering style. I did so fully knowing you're right. I'm sorry. Mewnst (talk) 20:40, 17 September 2024 (UTC)

--Lajmmoore (talk 17:50, 28 December 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging 2025 Update from Women in GreenHello Innisfree987: 2024 has wrapped up, and what a full year it was for WikiProject Women in Green! Over the past year, we hosted two edit-a-thons, one themed around women's history and another on women around the world. We also managed to achieve most of our 2024 annual goals, nominating 75 articles for GA, reviewing 64 GA nominations, nominating 8 articles for FAC, peer reviewing 3 articles and reviewing 10 FAC nominations. Excellent work, and thank you to everyone involved! For 2025 we have a new set of goals for nominations and reviews. In particular, we would like to see more articles on our Hot 100 list being improved and nominated for GA this year. If you take a look at the list and see an article you are interested in contributing to, feel free to add it and yourself to our Hot 100 project discussion. You might even find someone interested in collaborating with you! This year, as with every year, we hope you will join us in helping improve our coverage of women and women's works on this encyclopedia. Every contribution helps. We'll see you around!
