Perfluoralkansulfonamide

Perfluoralkansulfonamide (FASA) sind eine Stoffgruppe, die zu den per- und polyfluorierten Alkylverbindungen (PFAS) gehören.

Herstellung

Sie werden mittels elektrochemischer Fluorierung (ECF) hergestellt, so dass neben linearen Vertretern auch verzweigte entstehen.[1][2]

Verwendung

FASA werden für die wasser- und schmutzabweisende Ausrüstung von Textilien, Möbeln und Teppiche eingesetzt.[2] Eine bekannte Produktreihe ist Scotchgard von 3M.[3] Ein Vertreter, Sulfluramid, wird in einigen Gegenden als Insektizid gegen blattschneidende Ameisen eingesetzt.[4]

Umweltverhalten

In der Umwelt und in Organismen können FASA in Perfluorsulfonsäuren (PFSA) und Perfluorcarbonsäuren (PFCA) umgewandelt werden.[6][4][7][8]

Die Bioakkumulation von FASA ist deutlich höher als bei den PFSA mit entsprechenden Kettenlängen.[9]
