Bartolomé de las Casas (bahasa Spanyol: [bartoloˈme ðe las ˈkasas] ( simak); ca 1484[1] – 18 Juli 1566) adalah seorang sejarawan, reformator sosial dan frater Dominikan Spanyol abad ke-16. Ia menjadi Uskup residen pertama Chiapas, dan orang pertama yang resmi diangkat menjadi "Protektor Indian". Tulisan-tulisan khususnya, terutama Sebuah Catatan Pendek Penghancuran Hindia dan Historia de Las Indias, mengisahkan dekade-dekade kolonisasi pertama Hindia Barat dan utamanya berfokus pada kearoganan yang dilakukan oleh para penjajah melawan penduduk asli.[2]
