長尾山雀屬（學名：Aegithalos）是雀形目长尾山雀科下的一個屬。[2]本屬物種多分佈於亞洲地區，其中僅北长尾山雀分佈於歐洲，目前下屬10個物種。[2][3]

命名歷史

本屬物種為法國自然學家約翰·赫曼（英语：Johann Hermann）於1804年描述。[4]其模式種由埃爾曼指定為Pipra europaea，現今為北长尾山雀的亞種之一。[1]其屬名Aegithalos來自於古希臘語αἰγιθαλός（羅馬化：aigithalos），該詞當時就已被亞里斯多德用以描述數種山雀。[5]

雖然這個分類群有「山雀」一名，但實質上本屬並不屬於山雀科，而是獨立的長尾山雀科。[3]屬內個別物種的亞種分類較為複雜，有數個種群呈現多系群之情形。[7]目前本屬視不同名錄有9或10個物種，取決於侏长尾山雀是否屬於該屬。[2][7][8][6]
