節板蛛科（學名：Liphistiidae），又稱為八紡器蛛科，包含了8屬124種中等體型的蜘蛛，棲息於東南亞、中國與日本[1]。節板蛛科為所有現存蜘蛛的基群，屬於中突蛛亞目。其中木村蜘蛛（英语：Kimura spider）（Heptathela kimurai）在日本廣為人知。

生物學

節板蛛科為穴居的蜘蛛，棲息於管狀的地穴中，並會製作陷阱門掩蓋洞口。牠們多半會躲於地穴內，很少在地面上被發現。屬於中大型蜘蛛，體長範圍為8至23毫米（0.31至0.91英寸），最明顯的特徵在於一對向下如匕首的螯肢[2]以及腹部背上具有分節的背片。頭胸部背甲（英语：carapace）扁平，靠近頭部端有稍微上翹。眼睛分布集中，前中眼較小，後中眼較大而圓，側眼呈腎形。具有三爪，腿末端的關節上有棘。螯肢位於頭胸部下側[3]。過去被認為節板蛛科的物種不具有毒液，但於2010年的研究發現，其中的八紡蛛屬是具有毒腺的[4]。

節板蛛科為夜行性且可存活多年，雖然大部分的物種均居住於自己挖掘的地道之中，棲居於洞穴中的物種會將牠們的地道延伸到洞穴壁面上，並於地道的洞口用蜘蛛絲、苔癬與其他植物組織製成的陷阱門覆蓋[5]。有些物種於地道外也會佈有蜘蛛絲，偵測可能路過的獵物。雄性會離開地道尋找異性，而雌性則幾乎棲居於地道內。由於節板蛛科完全仰賴書肺呼吸，因此大半時間牠們並不是很活躍[6]。

系統分類學

雖然節板蛛科螯肢的形狀與猛蛛亞目類似，但兩者並非近親。一般認為所有蜘蛛，包括背突蛛亞目（英语：Opisthothelae）及中突蛛亞目，的共同祖先均擁有平行向的螯肢，而後新蛛亞目物種才演化出相對向的螯肢，猛蛛亞目則保留了共祖性狀（英语：symplesiomorphic）[6]。

種系發生學

分子系統發生學研究顯示，以現存蜘蛛物種而言，節板蛛科為單系群。節板蛛科各屬之間支序圖如下[7]：

1923年，日本學者岸田久吉（英语：Kyukichi Kishida）提議將節板蛛科分為兩個亞科節板蛛亞科與七紡器蛛亞科並分別對應八紡蛛屬與七紡器蛛屬[8]，此種系發生學分類一直沿用至今，並加入了更多新發現的屬。節板蛛亞科下的單型節板蛛屬僅在東南亞（寮國、緬甸、泰國、馬來西亞、蘇門答臘）發現，而七紡器蛛亞科的物種分布則偏較北方，其中5個屬分布於北越南及中國、2個屬分布於日本及其離島（沖繩、琉球群島）[7]。

其中2015年由溫德利希（Wunderlich）於缅甸白堊紀時期的琥珀中發現的Cretaceothele（英语：Cretaceothele） lata曾被分類至本科[10]，但現已將其分類為獨立的單系科中[11]。

瀕危的馬來西亞物種

3種馬來西亞特有的節板蛛科物種目前僅有在1-2個洞穴中發現[12]，其中最著名的為發現於黑風洞的陷門蜘蛛（英语：Liphistius batuensis）（Liphistius batuensis）, 其他可於馬拉西亞發現的節板蛛科物種包括馬來西亞節板蛛（Liphistius malayanus）、綠腿節板蛛（Liphistius murphyorum）、跳躍節板蛛（Liphistius malayanus）。陷門蜘蛛雖然受到當地法律的保護，但仍然持續受到棲息地喪失及被捕捉作為寵物的威脅。若陷門蜘蛛所棲息的洞穴遭到破壞，則牠們必然會絕種。

化石紀錄

數種於石炭紀發現的蜘蛛物種被分類於中突蛛亞目，但其中2015年由溫德利希（Wunderlich）於缅甸白堊紀時期的琥珀中發現的Cretaceothele lata曾被分類至節板蛛科，但現已將其分類為獨立的單系科[10]。
