Negative Spaces（ネガティブ・スペーシズ）は、2024年11月15日に発売された、Poppyの6枚目となるアルバムである。
概要
アルバムは音楽的にヘヴィメタル[1]、ニュー・メタル[2]、インダストリアル[2][3]、ブラックメタル[4]、J-POP[5][6]、シンセポップ[7]。
制作背景
2023年10月27日、ポピーは5枚目のスタジオアルバム『Zig』をリリース。いくつかのインタビューで、彼女は『Zig』の可能な「Part Two」を指摘し、「Zag」と呼んだ[8]。
2024年には、Bad Omensのシングル「V.A.N」とKnocked Looseのシングル「Suffocate」に登場し、その両方ともポジティブな反応とレビューを受けた[9][10]。
6月4日には新シングル「New Way Out」をリリース[11][12]。NMEとのインタビューで、ポピーは新しいアルバムが角の周りであり、ジョーダン・フィッシュによって制作されることを確認。
9月17日、2番目のシングル「They're All Around Us」をリリース。 アルバムと11月15日に定められたリリース日が9月23日に発表。 10月15日には2曲「The Cost of Giving Up」と「Crystallized」をリリース。
批評
