Your translation to Japanese is simply too mechanical. It would be the subject of deletion if posted to article namespace. If I translate, it would be like Special:Permalink/70266477. I added {{一次資料}} as your article relies so heavily on Cercignani's CV and works by himself that Jawp contributers may see it with the primary-source ploblem. Many thanks for your translation and advice! I found third-party sources for footnote 1ab. Should I replace it at Special:Permalink/70266477 or should I send you the sources? You can show me the new sources here or at my talk page. Feel free to edit Special:Permalink/70266903 if you'd like to. I have brought back footnotes [6]-[24] to the article. I'm not sure whether those links to bibliographic information and the papers themselves are proper "sources" for presenting one's portfolio, though. But they wouldn't hurt there.

As you may have seen, the correct transliteration of the surname has appeared at Wikipedia:執筆・翻訳者の広場: チェルチニャーニ. I have posted the article to ファウスト・チェルチニャーニ. I didn't cite the new CV you found because I can't understand Italian. And I consider the other two links as, while useful, still primary sources. So I've retained {{一次資料}} template. Anyway, I believe the deletion policy is not applied to the article as it is now.
