2023 EP by Odetari
XIII Sorrows (stylized in all caps ) is the second extended play by American rapper, Odetari following his earlier "3x3 ". The album released on September 13, 2023, through Artist Partner Group .[ 2] [ 3] The EP features vocals from artists, 6arelyhuman , cade clair, and JELEEL . The album title is named after the group, Organization XIII . XIII SORROWS is an EDM album that incorporates elements of hip-hop .[ 4] The album was supported by four singles, "GMFU ", "Look Don't Touch ", "Good Loyal Thots ", and "Narcissistic Personality Disorder ".

Release history
"XIII SORROWS" was released on September 13, 2023, through Artist Partner Group for digital download and streaming . Five days later, the ODECORE remix of the album featuring sped up and slowed and reverbed renditions were released on the side-account of Odetari managed by Artist Partner Group .[ 8]
Singles
The first single was “GOOD LOYAL THOTS ”[ 9] [ 10] which he released on March 15, 2023. Almost instantly, the track was a viral hit. On April 1, 2023, Odetari released the second single, the self-produced “NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER ,”[ 11] [ 12] the track quickly gained traction. The third single, “LOOK DON’T TOUCH ,” released on May 17th, 2023.[ 13] [ 14] The highly anticipated fourth and final single, “GMFU ” was released on July 26, 2023.[ 15] [ 16] The singles all charted on the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs (Billboard )[ 17] and have in addition been certified gold by the RIAA .[ 18]

"XIII SORROWS" was produced by Odetari , 6arelyhuman and Giomadx, while also being single handedly written by Odetari .[ 5]
Jacob Saltzberg from Earmilk had said 'XIII Sorrows ' was a "thrilling, captivating project" that is perfect for pushing the boundaries in the weight room, racing around a track, or battling demons.[ 20] Liliana Parsons suggested that "many people criticize it because of its popularity on TikTok" suggesting animosity toward TikTok due to its content.[ 21]
