I agree with your comment. But that's the great thing of Wikipedia. Let me know if you need a hand. I've meant to deal with the COPD article for quite some time now. I am working on a research project at Boston College, studying creation of medical information on Wikipedia. You are being contacted because you have been identified as an important contributor to one or more articles. Would you will be willing to answer a few questions about your experience? We've done considerable background research, but we would also like to gather the insight of the actual editors. Details about the project can be found at the user page of the project leader, geraldckane. Survey questions can be found at geraldckane/medsurvey. Your privacy and confidentiality will be strictly protected! The questions should only take a few minutes. I hope you will be willing to complete the survey, as we do value your insight. Please do not hesitate to contact me or Professor Kane if you have any questions. Thank You, BCproject (talk) 08:13, 3 August 2008 (UTC) Hi, am I completely mistaken or does the "discography" that you added consist mostly of >song titles< instead of >album titles<? Care to improve on that? -- Kku (talk) 10:22, 20 August 2008 (UTC) Nebulised TheophyllineHello I am taking issue with your claim that nebulised Theophylline is given to patients who are in Status Asthmaticus, this is untrue I am surprised given that you state you have an IQ of 160 you haven't researched this simple fact, you clearly have never experienced Status Asthmaticus and don't have sufficient medical knowledge. As someone who has experienced Status Asthmaticus several times I feel your edit was irresponsible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.196.225.77 (talk) 21:58, 25 October 2009 (UTC) This is used in combination with adrenaline when the patient is unable to inhale at all and its also used with an IV antihistamine and dexamethasone. My comments were only on using the nebulizer, the actual treatment choices will depend on the specifics in an emergency room. My IQ >> 160 (talk) 23:14, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
August 2012Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as StarForce are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. On a side note, the fact that Ubisoft is still using their DRM over 2 years after it was introduced shows that even though they lost some customers due to the DRM, they gained more due to pirates not being able to play the games on release. OTOH, the fact that Prince_of_Persia_(2008_video_game) is the only recent game that has no DRM which was massively pirated hours after release shows that simply removing it does more harm than good. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of " Disambiguation link notification for December 30Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Conan the Barbarian, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cimmeria. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while. Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. QEnigma talk 06:11, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
Recent edit reversionYour additions in this edit here, have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) To see the possible source of the copyrighted text, look in the edit summary which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. There should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. ~~~~ S Philbrick(Talk) 20:04, 20 January 2025 (UTC) |
