The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. However, the short descriptions you added are too long to be effective, such as at George Leonard Chaney. The guideline is that short descriptions should ideally be under 40 characters long, and no longer than needed. For more information, see the short description guidelines. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 14:16, 3 November 2024 (UTC)

Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, team, club, organization, company, product, department, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.
It also appears that your account is intended to be used for the purpose of telling the world about an organization, person or cause that you consider worthwhile. Unfortunately, many good causes are not sufficiently notable for their own Wikipedia article, and all users are discouraged from editing in any area where they have an inherent conflict of interest. You may wish to consider one of these alternative outlets. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects. Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.
Important items to note:
Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page):
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.
UU Archivist (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: The user name UU Archivist identifies me as an archivist of Unitarian Universalism material. By definition, the term "archivist" identifies an individual. It has been active for years. Please identify, who or how the account blocking was initiated. Interestingly, the blocking of my account coincides with objections I raised with a Wikipedia editor over an article I recently published George Leonard Chaney. :My description also clearly identifies me as an individual. It reads: :After a 35-year IT career, I retired and discovered that my time is now "my time." With the freedom to explore activities that truly interest me, I was drawn to exploring the history of my Unitarian Universalism faith tradition in my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. :Unitarians and Universalists had been active in Atlanta long before Atlanta iconic institutions such as Coca-Cola or Georgia Tech came into existence. Yet the story of Unitarians and Universalists has remained largely untold. :My hope is to share the rich history of my faith movement in Atlanta and in the South on Wikipedia.
