And in the same source Bheeshma, Drona, an.." Anticipating a likely battle to the death between Karna and ArjuNa, Krishna warned Arjuna calling Karna to be the foremost of the heroes “Hear in brief, O son of Pandu! I regard the mighty car-warrior Karna as thy equal, or perhaps, thy superior! . In energy he is equal to Agni. As regards speed, he is equal to the impetuosity of the wind. In wrath, he resembles the Destroyer himself. Endued with might, he resembles a lion in the formation of his body. He is eight ratnis in stature. His arms are large. His chest is broad. He is invincible. He is sensitive. He is a hero. He is, again, the foremost of heroes. He is exceedingly handsome. Possessed of every accomplishment of a warrior, he is a dispeller of the fears of friends. No one, not even the gods with Vasava at their head, can slay the son of Radha. No one possessed of flesh and blood, not even the gods fighting with great care, not all the warriors (of the three worlds) fighting together can vanquish that car-warrior. AGAIN BHISHMA LYING ON THE BED OF ARROW TOLD KARNA THAT , BHISHMA DONT WANT KARNA TO KILL ARJUN AND HE CONSIDER KARNA SUPERIOR TO ARJUN BCOZ HE HAS SAKTHI WEAPON AND GOT TRAINING FROM PARASURAMA HISELF,THE GURU OF DRONA.IE IS WHY HE OBJECTED KARNA FIGHTING AGAINST ARJUN.BHISHMA DONT WANT KARNA KILLING HIS BROTHER ARJUN
HOW CAN YOU SAY ONLY YOUR VERSION IS TRUE. DO YOU THINK CHOPRA OR AKG OR GUPTA ARE STUPID PEOPLE WHO WROTE THEIR OWN MAHABARATH( LIKE FEW TV CHANNELS NOW A DAYS DOING)??? HOW CAN YOU EVER SAY Pune school's compilation of the Sanskrit Mahabharat IS TRUE . THE ORGINAL MBH BY VYASA IS ONLY 5000 SANSKRI SLOKA. THE PRESENT MBH BY ALL AUTHOURS IS MORE THAN 25000 SLOKAS. SO WHO IS RIGHT & WRONG .DOES YOUR Pune school's compilation of the Sanskrit MahabharatCONTAIN ONLY 5000 SLOKAS. IF ITS NOT THEN HOW CAN YOU ARGUE ALL OTHERS ARE WRONG.
THIRD YOU WROTE the sun setting incident was an artistic addition in the Mahabharata TV series and is not in the original Sanskrit text. I SERIOULSY DOUBT THAT YOU MADE ALL DOUBTS BY WATCHING MAHABRATH BY WATCH TV SERIAL!!!!!!!! ARE YOU SAYING THAT KARNA DIIDNT EVER FIRED NAGASTRA IN WAR. EVERY VERSION TELLS IT . THEN WHY YOU DELETE THAT STORY EVERY TIME WHEN YOU MAKE EDIT???????????????ANY ANSWERS EVERY VERSION TELLS THAT ARJUNS CHARIOT BLASTED AWAY WHEN KRISHNA REMOVED THE PROTECTION AND WHEN HANUMAN GOT OUT . DONT YOU EVER READ THAT .THEN FOR PURPOSE R U DELETING THESE EDITS THIS PAGE WIKIPEDIA IS NOT ABOUT A SMALL INCIDENT OF MBH WAR. ITS ABOUT ENTIRE LIFE OF ARJUN HOW CAN YOU EVEN SAY ARJUN IS UNDEFEATED. HE WAS EVEN KILLED BY HIS OWN SON REMEMBER?? HE WAS DEFEATED BY MERE ROBBERS AFTER THE DEATH OF KRISHNA , REMEBER?? THEY TOOK AWAY ALL WIFES AND PPTY OF KRISHNA. THEN HOW CAN YOU ARGUE ALL THAT YOU WRITTEN IS TRUE????
"I have read that and the translation of the Pune school's sanskrit text, which I suggest you read as it is the most comprehensive and authoritative text on the Mahabharata according to scholars."
IF YOU READ SARALA MAHABARATH THEN WHAT WILL YOU SAY???????? PANDAVAS ALREADY KNEW THAT KARNA WAS THEIR BROTHER!!!!
DONT YOU DELIBERATELY FORGET ARJUN WAS KILLED BY HIS OWN SON??? ARJUN WAS DEFEATED BY ROBBERS??? IS IT THERE IN YOUR Pune school's sanskrit text OR YOU DELIBERETLY FORGOT???
I don't know who Chopra or AKG are but there is a consensus among scholars and academics that the Pune School's version/compilation of the Mahabharata is the earliest (by this I mean with no later additions to earliest texts) and most comprehensive. This is a massive undertaking that is still going on. I have studied the Mahabharata in graduate school.
YOU ARE ARGUING LIKE A FROG IN THE POND AND SAYS THAT THE WHOLE POND IS THE ENTIRE WORLD.LEAVE YOUR PUNE VERSION , TRY OTHER VERSIONS GET SOME GK. FYI NOBODY CARES IF YOU STUDY MBH IN SCHOOL OR NOT
DONT YOU THINK ITS AN IMP PART OF ARJUNS LIFE STORY??? WHY U R DELETING ARJUNAS CHARIOT BLASTING???? WHATS THE REASON ?? SUN SETTING CHAPTER- YOUR SIMPLE IGNORANCE AND I SURELY UNDERSTAND THAT YOU NEVER READ ANY OTHER VERSION OF MBH EXCEPT YOUR DEAR PUNE VERSION
HUMAN STUPIDITY HAS NO LIMITS- ALBERT EINSTEIN Arjunkrishna90 (talk) 06:07, 1 May 2014 (UTC) Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Content disputeHi - I see that you are in a content dispute with some other editors over the Arjuna article. Could you please first raise the issues on the talk page there please? Thanks. Imc (talk) 17:14, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
