Welcome to my talkpage! This revision of the talkpage now starts on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. ArchivesMy password....doesn't work at all. Tried to log in as User:Unfriendly Aliens, only that the password process is really faulty. I'm rejoining under another name to see if THAT works. Will let you know. I'm no sock, for they belong on the drawer, or feet, not here.216.247.72.142 (talk) 05:37, 8 July 2023 (UTC)

ANI closeThanks for closing that long mess of a discussion about Immanuelle's draft creation. I was hoping you might amend your closing statement slightly by adding the word "additional", as in "any additional restrictions". Immanuelle is already under multiple editing restrictions due to sockpuppetry, use of ML translations, copyright concerns, and related issues. Those were hardly touched on in the discussion you closed, so there doesn't seem to be reason to think that the discussion is a community endorsement of removing those restrictions entirely, as the current close statement might imply. Pinging Galobtter, the admin who imposed the existing restrictions, in case I am misinterpreting something here. Indignant Flamingo (talk) 01:28, 15 November 2023 (UTC)

Non-admin closure for your RFCHey, @Rockstone35:. I did a non-administrator closure for your RFC on the United States.
I recommend that editors submit another RFC if they wanted these changes reinstated. (Preferrably one at a time.) Thanks! StardustToStardust (talk) 20:15, 21 November 2023 (UTC) Removal request in U.S. articlePer the RFC closure this needs removed from the lead:
Editors have also recently added:

AwarenessYour justification for your rollback on Awareness distorts the history of the page since I first changed its lede and your suggestion on having an RFC before a talk page discussion is contradicted by Wikipedia policy. I explain more on the talk page, where I look forward to having a discussion with you. Closetside (talk) 15:07, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

ITN recognition for 2025 Potomac River mid-air collisionOn 30 January 2025, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2025 Potomac River mid-air collision, which you nominated. Ad Orientem (talk) 04:12, 30 January 2025 (UTC) An AFD you participated in was recreated and brought to FAI saw you participated in the AFD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Apollo Theatre (Belvidere, Illinois) whose opening mentioned "[t]here is also the article 2023 Apollo Theater Roof Collapse, which again fails GNG, NOTNEWS, EVENT and LASTING". I created an article on that topic a year and a half later, and got it to featured status (promoted yesterday). Thanks for your work at ITN! I'm assuming coverage on the March 31 outbreak in general got you on the AFD. I suppose you should take this as a reminder of the principles behind WP:LASTING - some events that are notable enough even for a featured article often don't make themselves known until well after they occur.
