User talk:Parham wikiHello, Parham wiki, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.
Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block. Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
Use the main sandbox or create your own personal sandbox to experiment. How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below. How do I create citations?
==References== {{Reflist}} What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page. March 2023Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Template:War in Afghanistan (2001–2021) infobox, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. 25stargeneral (talk) 23:17, 19 March 2023 (UTC) April 2023Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Foreign involvement in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 10:12, 18 April 2023 (UTC) Hello, I'm 25stargeneral. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Haqqani network, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 25stargeneral (talk) 00:57, 30 April 2023 (UTC) Contentious tpoic alertYou have recently made edits related to Eastern Europe or the Balkans. This is a standard message to inform you that Eastern Europe or the Balkans is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics. You should also be made aware of WP:GS/RUSUKR since you are editing in articles relating to Russo-Ukrainian War. Even if not specifically extended confirmed protected, restrictions still apply. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A tag has been placed on User:Parham wiki/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.yadvashem.org/articles/general/the-jews-of-north-africa.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It appears that you copied or moved text from United States invasion of Afghanistan into History of the War in Afghanistan (2001–2021). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., 2023 Afghanistan–Iran clashHi there! In this edit to the 2023 Afghanistan–Iran clash article, you added reference #22 with an invalid date. Could you please fix this reference? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 14:29, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
SouthvietnamWas not a person, it was a country so " Don't we write † in front of his name" makes no sense in context, it is not a justification relevant to the edit. Slatersteven (talk) 12:21, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution (second request) Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from September 11 attacks advance-knowledge conspiracy theories into Draft:Havlish, et al. v. bin Laden, et al.. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., Please get consensus about ChechnyaHi, The addition of Chechnya to the infobox was previously, as I’m sure you’re aware (since you replied without elaboration there), discussed on the talk page after a post by a new editor. Due to a relative lack of editor participation, the matter dropped thanks to auto-archive. Surely you didn’t interpret that as “silence is consensus”? It looks like Michael Z., the only other EC editor in the discussion besides the two of us to reply, merely took issue with a few points I had made about the DPR/LPR in my lengthy response to OP, rather than actually supporting the original proposal. If you think it’s worth a new TP discussion, you could of course start one. RadioactiveBoulevardier (talk) 11:53, 8 August 2023 (UTC) Turning a redirect into a disambiguation pageI notice your conversion of the Shah Cheragh attack redirect into a disambiguation page was reverted, with the comment: "Please create the article about the "2023 Shah Cheragh attack" first before converting this redirect into a disambiguation page." While moving the article to include the year follows the naming conventions for events, please also note that guideline WP:D2D applies. The important take-away point is that before one disambiguates, all the disambiguated articles need to exist. Even then, if there are just two articles to disambiguate, one can get away with hatnotes to the other article. Until there is a second article that might have an ambiguous title, a disambiguation page is not needed. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 03:56, 19 August 2023 (UTC) Wikiproject Military history coordinator election nominations openNominations for the upcoming project coordinator election have opened. Number of terrorists killed in IsraelThe number of terrorists killed in Israel is pointless, because some sources say 1,000 others 1,500. At the moment there is no added value for Wikipedia to provide such information. Onesgje9g334 (talk) 22:13, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topicsYou have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project. Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic. Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. Selfstudier (talk) 22:30, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Israeli war crimesHello, I come from the Talk page of the Israeli war crimes. We seem to have reached a consensus already (Support) and the 7 days of discussion have already passed, so why isn't it renamed yet? From the looks of it a sock puppet account has been emaling people to vote in his favor and new people appeared to vote Oppose. I think that's not a good thing. Some quick adviseHey Parham wiki. So, I wanted to maybe suggest you maybe not respond to every oppose comment for the Talk:2023 Hamas attack on Israel#Requested move 1 November 2023 discussion. That is somewhat like bludgeoning, which is not good. It isn't like you are going to get blocked for it, especially since you may not have known about it, but you should probably stop replying to the RM and let the consensus and discussion go where it is going to go (whichever way that may be). I mention this because actually in that previous RM that I mentioned in my !vote on, I actually got called out for bludgeoning the process, i.e. responding to a ton of comments different than mine. It is up to you on whether or not you want to continue commenting in the discussion, but for me at least, when I was called out for potentially bludgeoning, I just all-together stopped commenting. Hopefully this helps. Cheers! The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 21:05, 7 November 2023 (UTC) P.S. On Genocide Navbox[4] [5] You added Palestinian Genocide, whilst there was an ongoing discussion on the matter in the page which had not reached consensus. Furthermore, you added Second Holocaust to balance it, or for NPOV. Second Holocaust is about fear of another holocaust. You must be careful in not mixing in the subjects. I removed both, but just make sure you pay attention to the different details. Trying to put two sides doesn't make it NPOV necessarily. That's part of the beauty and complexity of Neutrality :). Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. Generally the comments of others should not be edited. 331dot (talk) 12:29, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
Also my commentIt's recognized that a genocide is being committed, whether that's RS or not. I specifically said we institutionally drink kool-aid and age ourselves by semantically failing to grasp the situation; there was nothing personal about it, nor any direct accusation beyond the governments involved. Reverting talk is a bad look and it's telling me I need to take Wikipedia to task even more. Remember the Jerusalem RfC? Pepperidge Farms remembers. ClaudeReigns (talk) 11:15, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

I have restored the RfC as it is more appropriate than RfD as 0 editors think the redirect should be deleted and this involves a policy debate, given a CTOPS article use to exist by that name (i.e. involved in a 70+ person RM). Please do not remove the RfC. If you feel compelled to open a RfD yourself, you are more than welcome to it, however, the RfC feels like the appropriate action here. Cheers! Dispute resolution noticeboard discussion about Russo-Ukrainian WarHello, you have recently participated in a discussion at Talk:Russo-Ukrainian War#Belligerents: supported by Belarus about the role of Belarus in the Russo-Ukrainian War and how it should be presented in this article. Consequently, I inform you that a new Dispute resolution noticeboard discussion (see here: Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard#Russo-Ukrainian War) was started about the role of Belarus in the Russo-Ukrainian War and how it should be presented in this article. I think that a WP:RFC will be necessary to solve this serious dispute, but I believe that it should be organized by a qualified dispute solver via the Dispute resolution noticeboard. Your opinion is welcome in the new discussion. -- Pofka (talk) 10:32, 25 February 2024 (UTC) Outline draft trackerHey, Here's a page I created for tracking outline drafts, that shows the date of the latest edit for each. This list lets us see if any drafts are getting close to the 6-month danger date. Once an edit is made to an outline draft, the date for it in this list automatically updates.
