Knanaya Article

@MiszaBot Hello, I was wondering what the referencing errors were that you mentioned? I have sourced all the content I have added with page numbers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thomast48 (talkcontribs) 2025-01-31T10:32:49 (UTC)

I am not MiszaBot, nor do I run that bot (or any other bots). If you have a question about MiszaBot, you should write to the MiszaBot talk page. If you have a question about a specific edit on a page, it's best to use the talk page of that article. -- mikeblas (talk) 15:43, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Mikeblas. Thank you for your work on St. Peter's Hospital (Helena, Montana). Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for creating a page for this hospital. With such a long history, I imagine that there are also other sources, more independent of the hospital itself, from which the content might expand. It's a little heavy on 'bad news', but I suppose that is what hits the news headlines!

If you have other sourced material that you'd like to add, feel free to do so! -- mikeblas (talk) 00:44, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Klbrain:, for some reason. -- mikeblas (talk) 00:57, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like the following book has some helpful material:
Baumler, Ellen; Axline, Jon (2019). Hidden history of Helena, Montana. Charleston, SC: The History Press. ISBN 9781467144018. Klbrain (talk) 01:13, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Great! Let me know if you need help adding it. -- mikeblas (talk) 01:27, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

New message to Mikeblas

Thank you very much for being one of those that cleans up after my technical messes at times. I do try pretty hard not to leave those errors, so I hope I do not stand out as leaving a lot of unnecessary ones. Cheers. Remsense ‥  15:42, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Everybody makes mistakes, it's no worry at all. But if you've got questions or need help, don't hesitate to send a ping. -- mikeblas (talk) 15:58, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly remove me from your ping list

Unless you have a discussion of value you think I ought to participate in. This edit on Hybrid Theory is not the first time I've been hit by one of your edit summary pings (my old name is at the top of the linked archive). I have read the section on your user page explaining why you do this; admittedly, it wasn't there the last time I had this issue. If I may be frank however, on simple reference errors, I find it condescending and annoying, and it seems like everyone else in that archive does too. I find it akin to templating the regulars, and borderline uncivil (I'm being careful here). If I make a mistake, and it's more complicated, please do not ping me in the edit summary as your first response. Send me a talk page message instead. If it's a simple one, I'm not interested in being pinged to see "hey I just cleaned up your mess", I'm just glad you fixed it. mftp dan oops 23:43, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to mute me: see WP:PING for instructions on how to do so. -- mikeblas (talk) 02:24, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for at least teaching me how to do that. I'd still prefer if you didn't mention me in your edit summaries, but at least now I won't be drawn attention to them. mftp dan oops 13:56, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The reference you wrote was broken, displaying a visible error and also adding the article to the Category:Pages with broken reference names. Looks like someone else has attempted to fix it. Still not quite right, but at least it's now workable and can be cleaned up. -- mikeblas (talk) 23:08, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
