Hi Karen: First of all I want to say again that you are doing a great job in the deep dyslexia article and you should be proud of it. Regarding the image:

• Diagrams like the one you created are not usually appropiate due to several reasons:

1-They are considered not encyclopedic, and more typical of student books, since they summarize and simplify an issue most commonly to make it easier to learn 2-They usually are very close to original research (See WP:NOR) since the creator has to make several decisions on what and how to include which does not directly come in the sources used. 3-If they are not OR they are usually only copied from a book and in that case there would be copyright issues.

My recommendation is that you do not add the specific image you created. I gave several possibilities that you may find useful to illustrate some aspects of your work. Moreover: creating new images and uploading them is quite messy and complicated, I would recommend that you search for images in Commons, where in theory any image you find is suitable for use in wikipedia. If I have time today I will add one as an example.

Hi, my professor and I consulted with the course’s online volunteers and they approved the image. I think the flow chart really helps clarify the written text. Yeap, I discussed it with Smallmann, and although I seem to remember other cases were similar images were eliminated I may be wrong, and anyway I could not find any policy in this sense, so at the moment it is simply my opinion, so I feel quite comfortable with leaving the image in the article: time will be the best proof of its validity as everything in wikipedia. --Garrondo (talk) 07:01, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nevertheless regarding your specific question: you can choose between many licenses, depending on whether it is your work or not. The most common one in this case (created by yourself) is: {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}}. You should add the text {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}} to the image description page.
