![]() Horse riders networkHello 🙂 I hope you are fine, I am reaching out as you are an extended confirmed user and of course a horse lover. I was checking the page with the list of social networking websites (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_social_networking_websites) and found out that there wasn't in the list the social network for horse lovers: Horsealot. I was wondering if you would consider adding it? I don't know if you already used Horsealot, it's a platform where you can talk with riders from everywhere, ask your questions, help others... Have a nice day 🙂 Georginahal (talk) 13:25, 16 January 2019 (UTC) Hello Georginahal! I have actually never heard of it, but if you'd like to educate me about it I may be willing to pitch out! ![]() Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. RonBot (talk) 18:04, 26 February 2019 (UTC) Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBotNote: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have. SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly; your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping! If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. -- SuggestBot (talk) 11:23, 31 December 2024 (UTC) Pending changes reviewer granted![]() Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages. Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:34, 9 March 2019 (UTC) Please participate to the talk pages consultationHello Our team at the Wikimedia Foundation is working on a project to improve the ease-of-use and productivity of wiki talk pages. As a Teahouse host, I can imagine you’ve run into challenges explaining talk pages to first-time participants. We want all contributors to be able to talk to each other on the wikis – to ask questions, to resolve differences, to organize projects and to make decisions. Communication is essential for the depth and quality of our content, and the health of our communities. We're currently leading a global consultation on how to improve talk pages, and we're looking for people that can report on their experiences using (or helping other people to use) wiki talk pages. We'd like to invite you to participate in the consultation, and invite new users to join too. We thank you in advance for your participation and your help. DYK for NegatiwOn 31 March 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Negatiw, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Negatiw was named the "Champion Stallion" at the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition in Moscow in 1954? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Negatiw. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Negatiw), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. — Amakuru (talk) 00:02, 31 March 2019 (UTC) DYK nomination of Bandos (horse)
Foulden Maar DYKHi, I have been working on the Foulden Maar DYK at the same time as you. I do not need the QPQ and another set of eyes would be great (I am a geologist and may not know what normal people find interesting). If you are not interested, I can give it the GTG. Happy either way, just don’t want to step on your toes. (Dushan Jugum (talk) 02:20, 20 May 2019 (UTC)).
Your help offerMuch appreciated. Have a few things but a priority would be how does one organize maximum participation at WikiProject Horse racing? I want to start by getting a consensus on a standardized Winners table. You wrote: "Hey there! I've noticed you've seemed to have trouble with a couple of aspects on Wikipedia". Help me out by giving me some examples where I'm having trouble then for sure would seek some input from you and/or others. Thanks. Stretchrunner (talk) 11:01, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

Question: I am doing an article where I have a major source that I will need to reference several times. Somewhere I saw an article where they did the initial ref in what (if I remember right) was in the standard way but each successive use of that ref had a simple short version that got the same ref # throughout. Can you show me how I could create that? Much thanks. Stretchrunner (talk) 16:46, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
