User talk:HeliocybeFungusHello, I noted your comment on the Fungus image - as you appear to be a well-versed fun-gi (sorry) I was wondering if you might be able to identify the species of this pretty fungus, currently growing on a rotten stump in Cheshire, England? PsathyrellaHi, no need to be sorry about your changes - I'm not an expert, just trying to figure this stuff out (fungal taxonomy) as I go along. I'm ordering the 10th edition today! Cheers Sasata (talk) 15:43, 26 December 2008 (UTC) Hello, I hadn't realised you (as in article author on this species' new name) were an editor here, so welcome :) I thought this would be a fascinating species to write about..wasn't it the original type species for Clitocybe? Anyway, I was wondering on the acceptance of the new genus name, was the consensus fairly global? Casliber (talk · contribs) 19:50, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
That is so cool to have a genus named after you :) Sasata (talk) 04:15, 21 April 2009 (UTC) Mushrooms protectionYou're welcome, it kept popping up in my watchlist too. The protection runs out 4 December, you can let me know if the problem comes back then if I am not still watching it, or you can post at Requests for page protection. The Dictionary of the Fungi (10th ed) claims there are 78 genera in the family, I've only been able to come up with 68. Do you know of a recent source that might have the full listing of genera? I suppose I could find them by going through every page in the Dictionary... but I'd rather avoid that method :) Sasata (talk) 17:25, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

It appears that you tried to give Agroathelia rolfsii a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history. In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for September 1Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Agroathelia rolfsii, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Athelia and Corticium. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
