Fair use rationale for Image:Abby Hayes1.jpgThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Abby Hayes1.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Using Welcome (and warning) templates properly.Hi, I noticed on another user's page that you'd given them a welcome message. This is a great thing to do, but, most templates you put on a user's page should be added using template substitution. Substituting templates into the page means that the template tag will be replaced with the contents of the template once you save the page. This is a good idea for templates like the welcome template, because the message you leave behind won't get changed afterwards, and if the welcome template were to change with a lot of userpages linked to it, the server has to regenerate all those user pages (which is a LOT of work). To add a welcome template this way, you type {{subst:welcome}} ~~~~ instead of just {{welcome}} ~~~~. When you save the page, the template's message will be added. You should also use this method when warning a user for vandalism or other inappropriate conduct. Forgive me if I caused any problem for you in the process. The reversion history confused me somewhat, I should have inspected more thoroughly. Hmm...gotta fix that! Nope, I'm back, but I'm logged out. Gotta run, but I'll fix that. Could you leave a link to the page over on my talk page? Please go over to the talk page and let's discuss a new date! Poeloq (talk) 01:36, 1 February 2008 (UTC) Hi, I was wondering if you would come back to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A Charlie Brown Kwanzaa and clarify your reason for wanting to keep the page. In particular, if you are arguing to keep it on the basis of it being connected to Charlie Brown, be aware that this is not a Charlie Brown release but is a rascist parody of the Charlie Brown Christmas special. Hiya. I've reverted your transclusion to WP:RFA Firstly, the candidate needs to sign the nomination and answer the questions. Secondly, requests should be at the top of the page. If you need any help just let me know !! Pedro : Chat 23:53, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Layout/SigHey Alisyn :D. I don't want this to be a big deal. The reason he credited myself was because of alot of the improvements I did to the design, including navbox, icons, etc. He can credit both of us if you would prefer that. I don't want either of us to get mad at each other. It's just a layout. And the signature wasn't meant to look like anyone else's. I had seen alot of people using the tag in their sig, is that what you were talking about? Let's please act like adults. Damn, I wasted my timeI got here only because I followed an edit from Scarian's page to Youngwebprogrammer, which led me to your page. I guess I wasted my time, well at least it was worth the look at that gorgeous girl ;) Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 21:42, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Username block- 7DAYWEEKENDThe account was being used to spam mentions of the band of the same name. I did not hardblock, and so they can come back if they are going to contribute constructively, but the username is just another outlet through which they can spam. I have no doubt that that was their intention here, not constructive contribution. See this section of our policy- this is a textbook example. J Milburn (talk) 22:17, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice?
