Plagiarism

A request to know my 'abuse'

I have been blocked from editing on my laptop "in response to abuse". But I am able to do the editing as a registered user on my mobile. Is it because I am not allowed to edit from two devices? Because otherwise I haven't done any 'abuse' to the best of my knowledge on Wikipedia.

Indian article NPOV issue

Upcoming film The Kerala Story has neutrality issues. Recently, it was cleanup by User:The Doom Patrol, mostly for WP:VOICE. Still, MOS:FILM structure is not followed and has undue weight on controversy. The film's story is based an actual incident where "four women" from Kerala joined ISIS. There have been 60-70 cases from Kerala. But as per a character from the teaser, about 32,000 have been recruited in the film's universe. That stirred political controversy. I agree numerical accuracy should be discussed, "specifically" about the figure 32,000 with reliable sources and correct attributions, without generalization. Regarding the capital letters, please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters; "capitalization is primarily needed for proper names, acronyms, and for the first letter of a sentence". The capital letters you inserted were not any of those things.

Regarding providing a reliable source, Wikipedia has a good tutorial on how to insert citations: Help:Introduction to referencing with Wiki Markup

That's good that the copyright holder is seeking guidance from Krd. I'm sorry, but I can't retrieve the deleted file because I'm not an administrator on Wikimedia Commons, where the file was. And I'm not a member of the Volunteer Response Team (VRT) which reads emails sent to the [e-mail] email address. The copyright holder could also contact the VRT for guidance on what to do.
If you have a suitable or preferred photo that you have taken of yourself, then you would hold the copyright to that photo, and you are welcome to use Commons:Special:UploadWizard to upload it for use.

Thanks for pointing that out. Unless I'm misunderstanding something, there appears to be a contradiction in the chart. I was going by the entry saying, "India.com by Zee Media Corporation" is unreliable. I'll hold off removing anything related to that website as unreliable until this is cleared up. Most welcome. Zee News (URL→ "https://zeenews.india.com") is a reputable news channel, while India.com (URL→ "https://www.india.com/"), which also happens to be an asset of Zee Media Corporation, isn't, per consensus ofcourse. Zee News was listed as an RS at WP:ICTFFAQ much before this new chart. Possible sock of User:Bothiman

Hi, recently this IP, geolocated to Uruguay, has been adding unreliably sourced financial figures in actor Vijay related film articles [4] [5] [6], etc. After being reverted, they restored those non-RS using a different IP, geolocated to Belarus - [7] with the excuse "What source do you expect for a decade old film indianexpress?"; [8]. They have also added that non-RS in other articles. Considering the locations of the IP, it is obvious they are proxies, and that the IP user might be a sock of User:Bothiman, known for being a Fan of Tamil actor Vijay. Previous SPI here. Request for help or advice regarding Tupac Shakur

Hello, as a recently active admin I was wondering if you could have a look at the recent acticity at Tupac Shakur. In summary, a previous uninvolved editor made some (I believe) valid changes to the article, but was reverted by a frequent editor of the article. I reinstated the edits because they seemed fair, and I cited that the WP:ONUS to gain consensus is on the user wishing to add material. I have since been reverted repeatedly, with summaries that could be construed as threatening the last person who removed the academic section was banned [9]. The user reverting me, it turns out, has many warnings on their talk page dating back months. I am backing away from the article now because I wish to stay well clear of WP:3RR and I have other matters to attend to, but I would appreciate a new set of eyes. Whether you intervene directly, or whether you can advise if I should (or should not) escalate the matter further, I would appreciate it. If you do not wish to get involved, I will understand (as noted at the start, it's only because you are recently active that I have, in a way, been directed here to leave a message). Those two articles say nothing about reliability. In fact, quite the opposite; both are about how much revenue is generated by the website. An archived copy of their About Us page lists no ownership, staff or editorial guidelines, and focuses on convincing the reader how much money can be made through advertising on their website.
