An automated process has detected that when you recently edited London Stadium, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Weir (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) I made one comment that was slightly iffy, stating don't be stupid. That is not a personal attack, that is in fact stretching it and other users have said a lot worse on that page including repeated COI attacks and outrageous accusations of bias, which apparently is OK in Wikipedia. However I have acknowledge that it could have been phrased better. In addition where is the harassment. I have given specific examples of threats and harassment accused of COI and threatening to accuse of COI if one remove something and it has been deemed OK. All my editing brought neutrality and value to the article. It is not harassment to change one's edit in line with balance POV and neutrality. Which is even written in tedious editing (by product of harassment) that it is tedious to deliberately and wilfully write unneautural things and to write against sources and it is not harassment to undo these things! Mean if we're going to go there, I can name Caprewarer and Defacto for doing the same thing after I edit. Only difference is I note it is constructive editing and was not intending it to be harassment. In addition this block only came around after I removed a disgusting rant (certainly wasn't constructive nor helpful and was aggressive) about how other editors have been in for longer and refusal to look at COI claims and to deal with editors as a result and I point out in that rant it said that "NO one on the talk page had said anything bad." Therefore less of a personal attack than anything else on the page. That is not an acceptable behaviour and in itself is intimidation. It is not a blockable thing to remove a talk page thread (as they don't have to be there for ever and a day), which I feel I would have been blocked for whether I edited with a comment or not. I am and have been editing constructively and I have ignored many personal attacks (which are apparently fine) and random rants from JJ. In addition I did not place any warning on anyone's page as I disagreed with them as Deb's has asserted. I placed it there as they were inserting things which were not in the source. That is not intimidation, but JJ's reaction was towards me. I did nothing wrong etc. I know when I crossed a line and that wasn't one. In addition the article has cooled off with the nonsense edits of trying to delete England stuff and add any old anti Boris (don't mind it if it is phrased showing both sides of argument) or random stuff which was not for UK only or as gospel for everything but England (again there are ways and means to do this but...). The article and other editors seem to be more constructive and are not trying to show pony there way to getting what they want, thus I ain't getting sucked in. Note all of my edits before JJ appeared were adding and still are good decent content to the page. Games of the world (talk) 19:04, 23 May 2020 (UTC) Decline reason: WP:NPA policy says If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. @Bagumba: I shown evidence of the COI and other associations on Deb's page but she decided to ignore it and came out with an outrageous comment, so I don't see how showing evidence is relevant at this point in an unblock request, when I'm intending for it to be an explanation of the situation and not a counter strike per se. EdJohnston (talk) 21:27, 20 September 2020 (UTC) ANIHi - I'm here to offer you a piece of unsolicited, but hopefully friendly, advice. Over the past few days I've noticed you commenting a lot at numerous threads at WP:ANI. I'm not here to take issue with any of the individual comments - some of them I agree with, some of them not so much, but that isn't the issue. All editors are welcome to read and comment on ANI threads - it's not an 'admins only' board - but it's unusual for a non-admin to take quite such an intense interest in it. I've seen cases before of people getting far too interested in the goings on there, repeatedly making comments which aren't helpful, trying people's patience and eventually being given the boot. I'm not saying that you're approaching that point in any way, but there are plenty of admins who monitor the noticeboard, who are able to give editors advice and also take action to prevent disruption - you might want to consider whether your time might be spend more productively on a different part of the project. I hope this doesn't come across as too critical - just wanted to give you some food for thought. I enjoyed where you said, "Sandbh you really need to pick more wisely before coming here." Re "See here for slow moving edit war." There was no edit war. I mentioned at the start of my post, "Members of WP:ELEM have recently been editing the periodic table article, as an exercise in continuous cooperative editing." The result was about 120 of edits representing improvements to the article. Re, "Sandbh I think has a case to answer EdChem's comments in an appropriate way." I posted, "I feel EdChem’s statement has several misrepresentations and errors. I’ve asked him, at his talk page[1], to please address my concerns as he sees fit." I did that rather than replying at ANI, in order to prevent the walls of text phenomenon at ANI you referred to. The main hold up with respect to the PT article is that DePiep, in breach of BRD, reverted my revert. If that kind of behaviour is acceptable then I have no grounds for being at WP:ANI.
