Hey, thanks for alerting me; I applaud your maturity in being able to change your position on an issue and agree with people that you were previously fighting with. I've asked a question on the article talk page about the possibilities of including both genres, though probably with alternative rock as the primary genre. Please weigh in with your thoughts. :) GlassCobra19:04, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Superbad
I tried to start a discussion about the plot months ago, no one else wanted to talk so I went ahead and edited [1]. I am working with Hoof Hearted to make the plot better but constant reverts do not make for improvement, if you have looked at the 10th and 23rd of January edits I made you will see what happens when bloat is allowed to creep in, you are more than welcome to help with the plot but reverting back and forth is not the way. Basketball110 has given you a fresh pie! Pies promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a piping hot pie, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Bon appetit!
Spread the tastiness of pies by adding {{subst:GivePie}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
Oops, I'm not really runing at 100% if you know what I mean lol. I had an interesting day at work; we had super smash brothers brawl tournament and I had to put on a stupid costume and walk around the mall, then I had to play in the tournament (in a costume where I don't have full range of motion) so I had an interesting day. As a member of WikiProject Homeschooling, I would like to inform you that recently a non-member has been trying to shut down the group and merge it into WikiProject Alternative Education. The reasoning behind this, he says, is that he wants the project to include more on non-homeschooling related content like Montessori schools. I have been trying to tell the editor that our members are not interested in editing non-homeschooling related articles as our Collaboration of the Month, (especially when our project is going along fine and considerably improving articles like the homeschooling article). I have proposed a proposal that would leave WikiProject Homeschooling how it is so we can continue with our work. But please remember that I didn't come here to ask you to just vote for it; instead, I want you to consider both options equally and decide for yourself, and discuss the proposal with other users if you disagree with any part of it. You can read and comment on it here. Please note that it is the one that says "Proposal by Diligent Terrier (2)". Cheers! DiligentTerrier and friends14:47, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
User:Orderinchaos removed that same message (above) from my talk page, just as he did from yours. I left a message on his talk page warning him also, and saying that I do intend to read every comment that comes to my talk page, whether or not he considers it vandalism (although we know that was no where near vandalism). - DiligentTerrier and friends20:20, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The matter has already been resolved, I had a conversation with the person concerned. It was never argued to be vandalism, but a violation of Wikipedia's canvassing and harassment policies. I should also note that I am an admin, and were I not, I probably could have ignored it - unfortunately, being an admin is not a job conducive to winning friends and influencing people, as our role is to uphold policies as they apply. Orderinchaos21:43, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You seem to have misunderstood what was happening here. Kimu was cross-posting messages (which is a violation of policy) to every member of WikiProject Homeschooling, regarding comments i made to him on his talk page. Cross-posting is against wikipedia policy, and the message he left on everyones talk page, was against wikipedia's harrassment policy. After discussing the issue with Kimu himself, OIC reverted all of the edits Kimu made to everyones talk page, which Kimu agreed with. As such, he was not violating talk page policy (the discussion is on both OIC and Kimu's talk page for reference). As such, I am involved in the discussion. If you believe deleting content from a users talk page is harrassment, i suggest you read WP:HARASS, which will make it clear to you that it isnt harassment. Youve been here a short time, so i wont"bite" you, but the tone of your messages is very hostile, and tends to inflame debates, which could end up breaching WP:CIVIL, and your accusations against OIC are against wikipedia's policy of assuming good faith. Please read the relevant policies and move on with your life, one message on wikipedia surely doesnt mean that much to you. Thanks. TwentyYears15:30, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I did not inform Kimu of what cross-posting was, OIC did (see here). Kimu did harass me, although non-intentionally as seen via the conversation here. For where Kimu implied that it was OK to revert his edits, see here and here. Deleting content from another users talk page is generally frowned upon (see WP:TALK), although it is allowed in circumstances such as this. I am involed in the discussion as this comment that Kimu posted on many talk pages was linked to a discussion I had with him (see here for discussion between me and Kimu). Removing content from a users talk page on the grounds of WP:HARASS is perfectly allowed under wikipedia policy, direct me to the policy where it says it is not allowed. Thats good that you trust GlassCobra, i actually supported in him in his Request for Adminship, he also seems to think quite highly of me too. Thanks. TwentyYears16:44, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I will not respond other than to make one clarification. On Twenty Years' talk page, you said: "He accuses Kimu of harassing him?" Actually, I never have. I accused him of indirectly harassing Twenty Years. However, this was addressed and settled more than two days ago now with the user concerned and for me it is a past, resolved issue. Yeah, I'm back. Not much of a Wikibreak tho, considering I was still on here some of the time. I went 2 a halo 3 tournament, my account name was "a little girl", and I got second place. So I'm pretty happy 'bout that. BTW, what do u think of my new sig? RC-0722247.5/112:50, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'd rather b homeschooled than go to catholic school (where everybody believes that homeschooling is evil). BTW, the reason I chose "A Little Girl" to b my account on halo is cuz whenever you kill someone it say "You have just been killed by a little girl" It's so cool. Oh well. I'm on a school computer too and people are standing around me staring and readin what I'm typiing while I'm typing. I'm gonna have a fun day, considering I aced another pop quiz (and you kno what happens when I do that). Anyway, I've got biology in five so I bettr go. :( TTYL. I had a sneaking suspicion it was you that threatened me in the past. I had forgotten about that though, so much for threatening me just today about being blocked huh? Dwrayosrfour (talk) 00:46, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would dearly love to put in my two cents, but seeing as I have been blocked for two months per this makes that slightly impossible. (Personal attack removed) Not only are those not my usernames at all, I have never edited on those usernames. They belong to my brother, and interestingly enough, we share the same IP address. Oh, wow, what a coincidence. I guess that happens when you live in the same house, yeah? In addition, aforementioned user did not warn me before blocking me, so I could present my case. (Personal attack removed) Oh boy. (Personal attack removed) elisatalk.12:46, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Then I'll put that on the noticeboard. One thing tho, we're going to have to start working on articles to avoid something like this in the future. RC-0722247.5/113:55, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, editing articles would be nice. No offense, guys, but we've sort of been trying to tell you this for months now. Having friends here is all well and good, but this is an encyclopedia, not Myspace. GlassCobra14:11, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
(ec) We're working on that GC. Elisa, that's OK, cuz this gives us time. I want you to look around the 'pedia at pages you have an interest in. Then I want you to make a mental list of things you see that need changing. I have one question for you: How long are you blocked for anyway? RC-0722247.5/114:16, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Elisa, you need to stop making attacks. This is not an abuse of admin powers, we're trying to protect the encyclopedia. GlassCobra14:25, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand why Wikipedia is going to offer this kind of thing if you get in trouble for using it like that. It's kind of redundant don't you think? (TomVox08) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.189.38.149 (talk) 15:33, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I understand that I need to start editing articles. I have already stated this numerous times here. I wouldn't have even raised a complaint, had I been blocked for not editing articles. My whole issue is that Daniel is not taking the time to go through the evidence, and just blocked me directly after a usercheck. The three usernames he claims are mine are indeed my brother's. GlassCobra, you know this firsthand, as you saw we were engaged in an argument. In response to Daniel, a) Why wouldn't he? He's a 15 year old kid who thinks it's funny to vandalize people's pages. Trust me, when he got both of us blocked for shit that he'd done, I was pissed. Ask RC. Zac and I are best friends, and yeah, if he sees someone yelling at me, he's gonna do something, no matter how wrong that is. I don't see how you thought I was in a dispute with DerHexer, though? If you had looked closely enough at the comment above the one my brother made, you'll see that my brother had vandalized my talk page, and Derhexer reverted it. Zac, being the awesome little kid he is, decided he didn't like that and so vandalized DerHexer in turn. If you don't believe me, ask DerHexer yourself. The comment he made to Dwrayosrfour was completely uncalled for, but so was Dwrayosrfour's attack on me. He claimed I sent him extremely volatile and racist comments, when I had, in fact, done nothing of the sort. But then again, I guess you didn't look closely enough to see all this. b) Ok, I'm sorry, but this is a really dumb piece of evidence. What kid doesn't at least once in his life call his sister sexy? It was sarcasm. Then again, I apparently don't have a brother, so he apparently can't be sarcastic.... c) First of all, I don't even get this comment, but I'll try to decipher. If what you're saying is that he edits talk pages identically to the way I type, you are sadly mistake. There is absolutely no similarity to the way he and I type. He uses alsmot no punctuation and didn't learn until recently how to even sign his comments. Yeah, it's true that neither of us use edit summaries, but I don't find them necessary on talk pages. Sorry, from now on (well actually, in two months), I'll use edit summaries for everything. d) Yeah, actually, he would know about the five pillars, seeing as he was welcomed by a member of wikipedia with a message stating the five pillars. I don't understand why you would go through all the trouble of finding all this evidence and not catch stuff right under your nose. Seriously, go back and look at his contibs. Everything I just told you is true. If I'm gonna be blocked, it's gonna be for not editing, not edits that my brother made. elisatalk.16:01, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I must admit I was surprised by this whole matter. The sockpuppetry situation was confirmed by an independent CheckUser, not by Daniel - he merely enforced the decision. Whether it was you or your brother is fairly irrelevant if it's reasonably obvious you were acting in tandem, WP:SOCK doesn't distinguish between the situations. Also, some of the incidents involved are very serious - attacks and threats are seen as high order violations of Wikipedia policy, and are treated more seriously than even 3RR (indefinite blocks are not uncommon). That being said, I think this is a case where things got out of control - I hope that once you come back from your block that this unfortunate situation can be relegated to the past and your mainspace contributions and good faith interactions with other users at that time will exclude it from the memory of most. Orderinchaos03:13, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How were we working "in tandem" at all?? We have separate computers, he never logs into my username, and I never log into his. I would never tell him to do things like that, as seen in messages on his talk page, left by me. Apparently, assuming good faith at this point is out of the question.... elisatalk.21:13, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I honestly don't know what to say anymore about the whole sockpuppet thing. I understand that the element of trust is no longer there, and I know that takes a lot of time to gain back. I'm sorry for everything, I really am. I would have my brother apologize to everyone's page he vandalized, but you've blocked him. I can't tell you anything else about it, except to look here and here. I can also tell you that Zac is obsessed with football, and that was mainly all he edited. I know about football, but don't care enough about it to edit articles. I like music, so I edit music. I'm sorry about all the problems, just please try to trust me on this.... elisatalk.13:44, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Could someone please do a UserCheck on Dwrayosrfour and Landon1980? It seems as though they like to edit identical articles, such as Flyleaf and Family Force Five, make the exact same comments and edits on each one, constantly stand up for each other, and both seem to have a major issue with the Christian genre.
In addition, in response to the whole discussion on Dwrayosrfour's talk page, we never did decide what genre we were going to use in the lead sentence. The only thing we decided about that sentence was that Christian rock was not going to be in it.
In response to Dwrayosrfour's removal of the Christian rock genre from the band The Almost, here are several sources disputing that removal. [2], [3], and [4].
In response to the removal of the Christian rock genre from the band Family Force Five, here are several sources disputing that removal. [5], [6], and [7].
In response to Dwrayosrfour's removal of the Christian metalcore genre from the band August Burns Red, here are several sources disputing that removal. [8], [9], [10], [11], and [12]and what about this page, in our very own wikipedia, clearly billing August Burns Red as a Christian band?
Obviously, I'm going to need some administrator help, as it is extremely hard to keep the christian genre on these pages. Thank you, I'm doing the best I can to start working on the encyclopedia. -elisatalk.13:29, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).
I know that this block is because of sockpuppetry accusations, but I've tried my hardest to prove that wrong, shown here and in the discussion above. I am also aware of the fact that I haven't been editing articles much, but I believe I've definitely tried to make a change. I've already started to make a list of articles I want to work on, and really think I can be of value around here. I will follow any advice given, have been adopted, and would love any suggestions on how to improve my editing here on Wikipedia. Another chance would be greatly appreciated. If not allowed, thanks anyways :). elisatalk.01:17, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).
I understand CheckUser doesn't lie, but neither am I. Just because my IP address has several usernames on it does not mean they are all mine. Is there any evidence that I ever edited using those usernames? I have already stated my evidence against this above. Zac (owner of the other three usernames and my brother) vandalized my page by putting gross statements on it, Der hexer reverted, and I thanked him. In addition, there is absolutely no similarity to the way he and I type. He uses alsmot no punctuation and didn't learn until recently how to even sign his comments (after I taught him). Yeah, it's true that neither of us use edit summaries, but I don't find them necessary on talk pages. Sorry, from now on, I'll use edit summaries for everything. At first, I didn't know the first username was Zac, until he told me. He had been vandalizing people's pages and generally beeing immature, and I told him to stop, as seen here, and then one of our mutual friends, just having joined wikipedia, found Zac's page, but didn't know it was Zac either. I told him over an AIM conversation, and he told Zac he knew, shown here. In addition, why would I choose a username like Blueballsboy? First of all, I'm not a boy, second of all, I don't have balls (slightly obvious by the first lol), and third, that's just dumb. Finally, you'll see that Zac's last username was MIGHTYJD. The JD stands for Jones-Drew, as in Maurice Jones-Drew, his favorite player in the NFL. One of the last edits made by this username was to Maurice Jones-Drew's talk page, if this helps at all. Also, I have never vandalized or made threats on here in my life. Why would I make up usernames, go around threatening people, pretend to be my brother, and hold conversations with myself? Thanks, elisatalk.12:19, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Decline reason:
As per the discussion, I endorse the block. There was already substantial concern about your edits even before the sockpuppetry came to light. This block is not indefinite, so you will be able to edit once it expires. — Yamla (talk) 15:23, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
The whole reason I think this block is particularly unfair is because I was never warned that I was accused of sockpuppetry. A user and I were involved in a dispute, and the day after, he blocked me for an entirely different reason. I am not questioning his credibility as an administrator (though I had no idea he was one until he blocked me), I just would've liked to know I was accused of being a sockpuppeteer before I was actually blocked. I actually took time today to find sockpuppet cases, and every single one was warned and allowed to make comments about the situation before a block was even considered. Now I'm afraid no one will come to my talk page and see this, so this may all just be in vain, but if anyone sees this, thanks for your time and consideration. elisatalk.01:27, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You said here that you had plans to contribute. Well, whether you're actually going to do that or not, I'm at least glad that you're ok ;-). Cheers, Face22:06, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I thought I take a look at your contrib list to see if you're still here. I wish I had done that before, so that I could tell you that I was quit shocked when I saw Talk:The Almost#Christian. A few things Landon1980 and FatalError wrote about you were really unkind. The only thing you did was adding the Christian rock genre, and defendingit, and they threw anything they could find at you. "She threatened bodily harm". "I thought checkuser confirmed you were using multiple sock puppets abusively". "You treat Wikipedia like MySpace". Even if those things are/were true, it's a violation of WP:AGF to state them if almost nothing happened. Also, something FatalError wrote made me laugh: "If you want people to take you seriously, then stop making your user page look like a MySpace profile and contribute". He, I tell you, there are many userpages who look far more flashier than yours. Some are of established users, some are not.
That said, I must say I tend to agree with Landon1980 about the Christian rock thing. To tell you the truth, I know little about Christian rock. But it sounds logical that bands whose members are Christian, don't automatically create music that is Christian rock. I mean, I haven't seen a source yet which explicitly, undeniably, says that their music is that. Some folks at Yahoo answers (which is not an RS, btw) also seem to agree with that. Furthermore, allmusic, generally considered an RS, doesn't see their music as Christian rock neither. Nor emo, by the way.
Well, I think you have two options here. Continue the debate at Talk:The Almost about the genres. Or just forget about it, and find other articles. I'm sure you have other interests, do you? If I can help you, please tell me.
While I'm sure you meant that nice, a barnstar for her userpage might be the last thing she needs at the moment. Cheers, Face07:28, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
After reading your post here, I left a message on your behalf at RS' talk page. He said that he would continue to check that page, so he'll propably reply soon. Cheers, Face14:22, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Because, when I tried to save the page logged in, it said that there was a problem with the WP spam filter and it wouldn't let me save the page. If you want I can log in and attempt to save the page again... 72.49.124.138 (talk) 21:25, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's weird. Could you try saving a page one more time using your account, and use an edit summary like "User:RC-0722 == User:72.49.124.138" or something? Cheers, Face07:33, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh My God, you actually read what I have written :) looool, anyway I'm flattered that ur happy with what I wrote, and to reply on what you have asked me....I live in Damascus which is located in Syria somewhere in Asia (on planet earth, if you haven't found it yet looool) I used to live in Dalmasca which is located on planet Ivalice but the existance of lots of monsters has forced me to move to a more quieter place :)... I think u could help me, I'm new to Wikipedia, what do you do to have fun around here (other than vandalism and correcting useless spelling mistakes.. loool)? ~~Matthew 14-OCT-2025 —Preceding undated comment was added at 09:17, 14 October 2008 (UTC).[reply]
Do I speak English? A good question, but judging from the fact that I'm already engaged in a prolonged conversation with you, it would more than convenient that I have the ability to respond to any kind of verbal interaction catalyzed by either ends of the parties currently related to this transaction....pheww, using the Google translator is hard loooooooooooool....OF COURSE I SPEAK ENGLISH :) ~~Matthew 20-OCT-300548 —Preceding undated comment was added at 12:09, 20 October 2008 (UTC).[reply]
Naah, that's perfectly OK, I always get the same comment from people who have no idea where Syria is...but I kinda got used to it, and since this is your first time, I will forgive you, and no serious action will be taken (but I don't trust my other self so sleep with one eye opened) loooooooool, anyway for more info check out my Facebook page (which I have no idea what the link to it is :)) but you can serch for "Mayaz Dimashki" and I believe that I will be the only one to be found...cheers ~~Matthew 24-OCT-3sine21442*1.3325/-123665885423 —Preceding undated comment was added at 06:54, 24 October 2008 (UTC).[reply]
loooooooooool "Syrian-to-English" don't you mean "Arabic-to-English"..loooooooooooooool you've just made my day, anyway I don't use such machines since they are forbidden in the teachings of Yevon (another Final Fantasy reference, you must be getting bored, but I'm an FF freak so u gotta keep up with me) anyway, I'll be c-ing ya on FaceBook, Cheers ~~Matthew yesterday —Preceding undated comment was added at 08:13, 28 October 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Love the designs and content. Awesome arrangement of the button-like dots on the top-right hand side (which I've never figured out by memory). Keep up the good work. Cheers! ←Signed:→Mr. E. SánchezGet to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 02:57, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
