I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place Masiela LushaThank you so much for your speedy reply regarding Masiela Lusha's article here in Wikipedia. I am certain at this point that there isn't another soul on the planet, besides her own mother, who could have up-to-date news on her career and recent literary developments. As her Agent, it gets rather difficult to convince producers of her origin when your news here on Wikipedia links directly to other sources. Also, if a fan decides she's 5'8 when in fact she's only 5'4... that right away translates to her IMDB, and soon I find myself working harder to explain the truth. I understand the process of deleting a page, but I hope you're not referring to deleting her page here on Wiki. Are you in fact considering deleting Masiela's page, or is this a way to prevent outsiders from altering information that is already proven? Thank you again Ehsan. I appreciate your courteous response. Kindest Regards, Aaronweinhaus (talk) 05:58, 8 May 2008 (UTC) Aaron Indian Surnames etcHi. I wasn't trying to offend - what I was stating was that two categories should not be subcategories of each other, as that implies that they're both the same thing - in which case, there should be no need for two categories. It doesn't actually make sense. It's saying that 'A' forms part of 'B;, but also that 'B' forms part of 'A', which doesn't make sense. it doesn't matter whether this refers to Indian names or types of asteroid - the idea is that categories should not overlap this way.CultureDrone (talk) 12:22, 8 May 2008 (UTC) Masiela LushaThere isn't a reason to question her notability given that she has quite a few published articles this past year, as well as an official website at www.MasielaLusha.com. Also, I have every intention on using other sources but after a full day of attempting to learn the process, I found it too difficult and can't seem to help you in any way... though I wish I could. I have one more question. Why haven't my changes been made visible under the google search>wiki? It still mentions that she lived in Georgia (which is false) Aaron Aaronweinhaus (talk) 16:42, 8 May 2008 (UTC) Problems/Masiela Lusha (copied here)You wrote: Wikipedia's problems are simple (a) nobody should tell lies, so every statement should be verifiable from a good place. (b) If concerns are raised then every article should go under a 5 day review to decide if it is a notable person to have an article. (c) that some persons who create articles need to be outside our the editorial process. Those issue are raised in Wikipedia Conflict of Interest. Wikipedia is very much about lots and lots of people editoring an article which new ideas or new information. My personal idea is to let the five day deletion process decide whether or not it should be included in Wikipedia or not and I will raise it on 10th May. If it is decided it is notable then a standard dates of birth etc will be included otherwise it will be deleted.
ThanksThanks for the tip-off about the copy of my user page; I don't know what's going on with it but it's definitely dodgy. Sam Blacketer (talk) 19:28, 10 May 2008 (UTC) US City articlesUser:Rambot, an automatic program run by User:Ram-Man updates all of the U.S. city article on a regular basis. It has been running for about 6 years or so. Updating population data for cities from the official Census department data is fairly repetitive and non-controversial work. I am not sure what the beef it there... --Jayron32.talk.contribs 03:48, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello EhsangQ , sorry I mangled that page"Template RFC list" ( whatever it be ). I'm new on WP , & I did as usual when we want to ask a question on the french WP : find the apropriate forum - (history) , modify the page , & write the question .It was about "the voyage of George Anson around the world" , I want to translate it into French : "thanks to the author - can I add a page about Juan-Fernandez Islands - does he think many sailors died of tuberculosis ?". Can you redirect my question ? Thanks & apologies Hmmm ,and am I in the right place now ? ...( Nice photo you got , man ... - I was in Britain in the sixties ...) --Arapaima (talk) 21:23, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks a lot for your answer , EhsangQ , it was certainly saturday night exhaustion ( not intoxication , I'm a teatotaller , a rarity here in France ) after much typing about Anson's voyage . I gather your family is from Afghanistan , or do I blunder again ? I have a friend who has been a french doctor in Kabul , 35 or 40 years ago , he told me what a lot of fine people the Afghani were ...Fare well , young friend , & God help us all to find peace & prosperity . --Arapaima (talk) 07:43, 12 May 2008 (UTC) Salman RushdieHi there, I did as you said and triedd to put http://www.abc.net.au/rn/bookshow/stories/2007/2092789.htm in the Salman rushdie page bit still can't get an Edit tab to do this in. what am I doing wrong? Sabina77 Thanks, I did as you suggested. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sabina77 (talk • contribs) 11:28, 13 May 2008 (UTC) Hi, this edit of yours removed sourced information from an article but the edit summary ("journalist v ournalist (1chr)") doesn't seem to explain why. May I ask what was the thinking behind the removal?
