Not of lot of people work on it, so there's very few people deciding these issues. I was wondering if you could take a look at the article, it's history, and talk page and put your two cents in at the bottom of the Talk:Kardashev scale page. If you could, it'd be really helpful. The page has evolved quite a bit in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at Wikipedia:WikiProject Maryland some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. Several of us have worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. If you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Thank you very much for your help and your continued effort to improve Wikipedia and its quality! I've been working hard to try to get the page updated and formatted properly and I'm continuing to gather info at the school every day. I appreciate your help and the support of your WikiProject. Killervogel5 (talk) 13:58, 11 February 2008 (UTC) I see you've assessed its importance as "Low", but what about the article's quality assessment? It is still listed as "Stub" when it passed GA back on February 11. JGHowes talk - 04:06, 13 March 2008 (UTC) Response: My error, when added an article to a project I normally will not change a current rating & Hampton National had a current stub rating - missed the top banner GA rating. As you can see, I have configured it to fly behind the wiki-puzzle-world logo in the upper left portion of the screen. I will leave it there for a couple of days and invite your comments as to whether we should use it on our front page, or not.--«Marylandstater» «reply» 16:32, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
You Are Entitled![]() Just so you know, you are entitled to display this JourneyMan's medal for all your hard work. Your next medal comes at 4000 edits and one full year of service.
Your expansion of the citation for one of the cases in the decision's prior history is missing the volume # for the S.W. cite—would you be able to fill that in? Thanks! Postdlf (talk) 19:40, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

I also do community outreach for the organization. I am interested in updating the MA & PA Heritage Trail Wiki entry and see that it is part of a larger project about MD. I am new to Wiki and want to make sure that I follow the correct procedure and respect the work of the person who took the time to start the entry about the trail. Can you help me out or direct me to someone who can provide me with the procedures? I have tried following the links in the Maryland Project and am having difficulty understanding what to do. Should I simply submit my revised article for assessment? —HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:03, 7 March 2011 (UTC) Multiple-arch damsHello, Deanlaw. I noticed you're edit to Arch dam and am having trouble making sense of what the book's author wrote (pg. 115). After Gleno Dam, there was more than one multiple arch (buttress) dam built to include some big ones like the Daniel-Johnson Dam, Itaipu Dam and the Bartlett Dam. More here as well. I think the author was referring to specific designs as they changed over the years. I am still doing some research because I don't think the wording is too accurate. Multiple-arch isn't a terribly popular design but it was still applied after Gleno. I figured maybe you had some thoughts.--NortyNort (Holla) 09:43, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Constance Worth ImageHi Deanlaw. Its great you found an image of Jocelyn Howarth (Constance Worth). I have a better image of her from the courtroom scene in The Wages of Sin, but am not confident about the copyright. As I understand it from your note on the photo - this film is no longer copyrighted so I could upload it? NB: Jocelyn Howarth's sister Gwendolyn lived in Hagerstown, Maryland for many years. She had provided Australian newspaper readers with the only sensible accounts of the Brent divorce. Cheers Nickm57 (talk) 23:43, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Commons photosHi Deanlaw, a couple of Commons photos are listed with the incorrect persons the man is Gustav von Seyffertitz, rather than Percy Marmont this is Lionel Barrymore, not his brother John hope I helped, cheersKoplimek (talk) 01:59, 4 February 2014 (UTC)

George FitzmauriceHi Deanlaw, at the George Fitzmaurice wiki commons, the man with his head in his hand is not George Fitzmaurice. That's William C. deMille. I made the change to Fitzmaurice's entry with one of the other photos which are correct. See http://commons.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:George_Fitzmaurice - So you may want to reassign this portrait to deMille. Great work from you. All My Best Koplimek (talk) 19:29, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Here Comes the Bride 1919; photo correctionThis file photo (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/eb/Here_Comes_the_Bride_%281919%29_-_1.jpg) in the wiki commons of Here Comes the Bride is incorrect. Hi Dean: I removed the advert for Down Home (1920), the Leatrice Joy film. James is not represented in the advert as it is Leatrice and an unnamed performer much younger than Barrows would have been in 1920. Below is a portrait of Mr. Barrows: portrait ..and he appears in this clip, his last role, from The Sea Beast with John Barrymore and Dolores Costello: The Sea Beast (1926) Thanks Koplimek (talk) 19:19, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
Film articles with imagesHello! Thank you for all your help in removing image requests, from articles about films that have images. However, when updating talk pages, please consider just removing the parameter that is no longer needed. Redundant parameters such as
Templar SaxeHi Deanlaw, the image you included at the Templar Saxe article from the film The Teeth of the Tiger has David Powell, Marguerite Courtot and <Templar Saxe>. Rather than Saxe that player is Charles K. Gerrard. Koplimek (talk) 20:36, 8 August 2015 (UTC) Silent Film CensorshipThanks for all your work/research into some of the incredible State Censorhip edits that were taken out on many silent films. They seem laughable almost petty when reading them today. And this before Will Hays and Joseph Breen. It must have been frustrating and maddening to directors to have their films cut to ribbons by crazy edits. Again thanks, I love this feature that you've added to the articles and I hope they are educational to reader viewing them today. Best! Koplimek (talk) 15:13, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

Raquel Torres imageHi Deanlaw, the image you uploaded to White Shadows in the South Seas is not from the film. It is a still of Charles Bickford and Raquel Torres from The Sea Bat(1930). I relocated the still to The Sea Bat article.Koplimek (talk) 21:20, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Wrong image in Larry Kent articleThe image you added to the article on December 22, 2017 that identifies the male figure at the left as Larry Kent is incorrect. It is actually Allan Forrest, who also appears in The Lovelorn. I'll let you make the correction. Perhaps you have a different image that you meant to add? ShelbyMarion (talk) 15:46, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
Catharine Carter CritcherThanks very much for the addition of the photograph into the article. It's been damn near impossible for me to find a portrait of her - this is only the second I've seen, and the other is a low-resolution shot in which she's also standing, working, at the easel. Now if I could only find a painting I was sure met the copyright requirements... --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 15:48, 22 June 2018 (UTC) Copying within Wikipedia requires attributionHi. I see in a recent addition to Wilford Fawcett you included material copied from Fawcett Publications. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this legal requirement when copying within Wikipedia in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:35, 20 November 2018 (UTC) The Wild Olive posterI am looking to use this poster for the lost film "The Wild Olive" now a public domain film. File uploaded to wrong movieHi Deanlaw, back in February 2020 you uploaded to Commons a file from a Spanish periodical Cine-Mundial from May 1916. The image was uploaded to Florence Reed's 1916 movie THE WOMAN'S LAW. It's incorrect. The file pertains to John Barrymore and a K9 in the film THE LOST BRIDEGROOM 1916. I've tried to change the name and/or move it to a new name. I believe a file mover or admin is looking at it now.
