Santa PaulaI want to discuss the changes made on Santa Paula, California regarding the images in the montage. The image of Thomas Aquinas College is actually not highly visible in the city. In fact, it borders on unincorporated land. I don't want to publicize my sources, but if you want me to verify the opinions of City Hall I can. I suggest leaving the photo of the Train Depot and keeping the image of the orange groves as it represents the history of citrus and agriculture. Moyir90 (talk) 18:07, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Why was Harriet E. Riggs removed as a notable resident in LeDroit Park????Doctor Harriet (Hattie) Riggs – A black educator from Calais, Maine, who taught at the M Street High School, lived at this location. Although Dr. Riggs earned her medical degree in 1892 from Howard University, she never practiced medicine. (418 T Street NW) She taught English at M St. High School and Dunbar High School, retiring in 1922. During her service of 40 years, she was head of the departments of English and History and a member of the board of examiners for the colored schools. In 1901 Dr. Riggs was graduated from Howard University Medical School, winning the alumni prize in medicine. Of the 17 Notable Residents of LeDroit Park, on two are women...both very impressive...one being an heiress, and the other, in collaboration with her Doctor husband, did amazing things. But Harriet (Hattie) E Riggs was an Single, never married, African American woman whom earned a Medical degree in 1892....super impressive. Would she have been worthy of note were she an heiress or married? 2601:152:881:8010:88AD:6B75:D845:3453 (talk) 19:15, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for removing the voter table at Alameda, California. My biggest issue with these tables are that they are inaccurate (the districts listed do not line up evenly with the city boundaries), and most are poorly sited and added by primarily by this sock. If you get pushback, please let me know, as it may need to go to an RFC. Cheers. Magnolia677 (talk) 14:02, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 14:55, 16 August 2024 (UTC) West AdamsFWIW, my own work uniformly refers to West Adams as a neighborhood, not a district. By contrast, the editors here, apart from cited sources, vacillate in variously referencing West Adams as a district versus a neighborhood. That's a semantic inconsistency that I neither allow in my own linguistic endeavors nor do I suffer lightly when I encounter it at Wikipedia. I had hoped an enterprising editor would accordingly remedy the situation but it looks like no one's up to it. Guess the task is up to me.
