Please research more before undoing other people's editsI see you re-added my contribution after you did more research. I would suggest for future edits doing the research before hand. Also, Roll Call is a leading source in political news and would be far better at judging information as real or speculative than either of us. Rxguy (talk) 23:17, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
NJ 2011 PollingI can see your point and that makes sense. I also see that you are an expert in a sense as you've been doing this for a while. I've been debating with another person about how polls should be ordered chronologically and have seen that you have fought to keep the established format going so I just wanted to say keep up the good work and maybe someday those people will see that they are in the minority and our way makes more sense. 208.103.137.221 (talk) 01:45, 21 July 2011 (UTC) The Signpost: 25 July 2011

It's about time someone stood up to these nonsense polls! I am actually against all the hypothetical polling on wikipedia, because it is a waste of life to copy and paste info that has very, very limited value to anyone. Let me know if you get battled on the page for it, because I'll back you up on this one 110%.--Screwball23 talk 23:43, 15 August 2011 (UTC) Suggestion for WikiProject United States to support WikiProject MarylandIt was recently suggested that WikiProject Maryland might be inactive or semiactive and it might be beneficial to include it in the list of projects supported by WikiProject United States. I have started a discussion on the projects talk page soliciting the opinions of the members of the project if this project would be interested in being supported by WikiProject United States. Please feel free to comment on your opinions about this suggestion. --Kumioko (talk) 03:02, 16 August 2011 (UTC) The Signpost: 15 August 2011

Samesexmarriage101 as usernameHmm. It's not directly pushing a POV (in fact, the username could be read as suggesting the user simply wants to have all the relevant information on the topic be available here, which is not a problem if that's so) but given where they're editing it could become very problematic very quickly if there's even the slightest perception of a point of view or agenda. I may talk to them about this. Daniel Case (talk) 03:57, 14 October 2011 (UTC) The Signpost: 17 October 2011

Proposed deletion of Pennsylvania gubernatorial election, 2014I have removed the proposed deletion tag you placed on Pennsylvania gubernatorial election, 2014, because another user removed the prod tag you placed on the article on 28 April 2012, making this article permanently ineligible for deletion under the proposed deletion process. And in response to your edit summary here, anonymous/unregistered users have just as much of a right to remove a proposed deletion tag (or any other tag) as you or I do; the only way a prod tag can be reinstated on an article is if the removal was part of a larger case of vandalism of the article, which this was not. Additionally, you gave no rationale for deleting this article. While not absolutely mandatory, you really should provide a deletion rationale when prodding an article. There are many users out there who will remove a prod tag solely because it has no deletion rationale. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:23, 14 May 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 14 May 2012

Wisconsin gubernatorial recall election, 2012Feel free to comment for or against Intrade on the talk page, instead of removing entries on the basis of "absolutely does not belong here... this is not done on any other pages." Other users have contributed to this discussion, including news and scholarly articles. Also, your undoing these entries appeared as edit warring under proxy, which is why you received an edit warring warning, note - not an accusation. "An edit war occurs when editors who disagree about the content of a page repeatedly override each other's contributions, rather than trying to resolve the disagreement by discussion." Discuss, here on the talk page of this article instead of calling admins. Numbers make senseHello, The Texas Libertarian Party used Approval voting to conduct the choice of their nominee for U.S. Senate. John Jay Myers, who won the election, is a proponent of this method (him advocating). It consists of having a yes/no question for each candidate, or a check box, or a blank paper for one or more write-ins, instead of an exclusive, personal vote. This is why the candidates' tallies don't sum 100%, but rather the average number of approvals per ballot (145% = 1.45). It is assumed using approval tends to avoid divisive rivalry between left and right, to the detriment of a party's or a constituency's unity. The website I gave as a reference[5] does not only mentions the slate of results (it could be an error), but also the fact that it was decided earlier in the convention to select the Senatorial candidate through approval voting. April 2018 Milhist Backlog DriveG'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement. The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone. The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.
