Reliable data is required. * Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show." Expand : Professional sports (crucial article explaining the salaried undertaking of sports) * Sport industry (currently a sub-stub) Photo : for pages listed in Category:Wikipedia requested images of sports and games and sub-categories. Stubs : work on articles in Category:Sports stubs Update : List of world sports championships Other : Translate the page of sport in each country from corresponding article in other language Wikipedia to English Wikipedia which was marked in red. 11:06 edit: I've reinstated this edit because I tend to agree that baseball, softball, karate, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing are no longer "future sports"... yes the qualification campaigns have begun, which seems pretty current to me! If not, when do we define a point in the future when they become "current"? The day of the 2020 Winter Olympics opening ceremony?

20:19 edit: It certainly does seem counter-intuitive to class snowboarding as a "skiing" discipline but it is in fact one of the six Olympic disciplines governed by the International Ski Federation – please see FIS article, which says: "responsible for the Olympic disciplines of Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, freestyle skiing and snowboarding." For the purposes of this template, the six disciplines are grouped together under the sport of Skiing, for consistency with the main winter olympics articles (Sports section). Are those 5 "new" sports there to stay in the Olympic program? If not, they should be somehow seperate. See {{Summer Olympic sports}}. --Pelmeen10 (talk) 14:27, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
