Template talk:Netherlands Antilles elections

On the second row of this template "Island council elections" most of the dates link to disambiguation pages - eg 1951 links to 1951 Netherlands Antilles island council elections. The only exception is 1985 which links to 1985 Aruban general election. Could someone explain why the others link to dab pages (see Wikipedia:Disambiguation)? This causes dab links on all the articles where this template is transcluded. Would it be worth having more rows, one linking to the "Aruban general election" and the other "Sint Maarten general election" for the relevant year, eg 1951 Aruban general election and 1951 Sint Maarten general election. I note that mergers have been proposed and are under discussion but they could always be changed if the mergers take place.— Rod talk 08:15, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The individual islands already have their own templates. A solution may be to hide this row until the merge discussion is complete? Number 57 10:54, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Where can I find the merger discussion? The Banner talk 19:35, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
