Telepathe (pronounced telepathy [ 1] and meant with some literal meaning[ 2] ) are an electronic pop duo[ 3] from Brooklyn[ 4] consisting of core members Busy Gangnes and Melissa Livaudais.[ 5] [ 6] The band also includes other occasional musicians,[ 7] such as Ryan Lucero.
Telepathe has toured with the Strokes ' frontman Julian Casablancas , in addition to friend DJ Diplo ,[ 8] Ladytron and The Faint . Their 2009 debut album, Dance Mother , was produced by TV on the Radio's David Sitek .[ 9]
