Elections
In the 2024 Republican primary election for Colorado House of Representatives District 16, Keltie ran unopposed.[6]
In the 2024 general election, the initial results showed Keltie defeating Democratic incumbent Stephanie Vigil, with Keltie getting 20,641 votes (50.01%) and Vigil getting 20,635 votes (49.99%), a margin of six votes.[7] This narrow margin triggered an automatic recount.[8]
A recount was completed during the week of December 2–6, 2024. The recount found the number of votes for Rebecca Keltie was unchanged, and the number of votes for Stephanie Vigil increased by three, resulting in Keltie winning the seat. She got 20,641 votes (50.004%), and Vigil got 20,638 votes (49.996%).[9][10]
