The culture of Entre Rios is richly diverse, highlighting festivities and events that have lasted for generations, constituting secular traditions. Among the popular festivities and traditions, we can highlight the Lavagem das Praias de Porto do Sauipe, Subaúma and Massarandupió, in addition to São João at the headquarters from Entre Rios. Other celebrations include the Barquinha festival in Sítio do Meio and Lagoa Redonda, as well as the Patron Saints Festivals in villages. Furthermore, there is a strong culture of Horse Riding throughout the municipality and region. The local cuisine is also a highlight, with Arrumadinho as the best-known typical dish, easily found in restaurants in the area.[6]
Roads
The city can be accessed via the highway BR-101 towards Aracaju (access to the main district and some villages). It can also be accessed by the Linha Verde, to Palame, district of Esplanada, where you will use the highway BA-400 to headquarters district. Another access, this one the most typical along with the first, is from Simões Filho via the highway BA-093 to the headquarters district, passing through Dias d'Ávila, Mata de São João, Pojuca, Araçás until finally reaching the headquarters district.
