The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Peru (Korean: 주페루 대한민국 대사관, Spanish: Embajada de la República de Corea en la República del Perú) is the official diplomatic mission of the Republic of Korea in Peru.
Peru and South Korea established relations on April 1, 1963.[1] The Korean ambassador to Brazil was initially accredited to Peru, until an embassy in Lima was opened on August 1, 1971.[2]
During the internal conflict in Peru, the embassy was targeted on two occasions: once on September 11, 1987 (alongside police stations and power grids) and a second time on November 23, 1988, abeit unsuccessfully.[3]
The embassy moved at least twice, first being located near Javier Prado Avenue[4] since 1986, and moving to its current location in 2013, opening on November 18.[5][6][7]
