Lenoir was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fifth round, 172nd overall, of the 2021 NFL draft.[4] He signed his four-year rookie contract on May 13, 2021.[5]
Lenoir made his NFL debut with a start in the 49ers' season opener against the Detroit Lions.[6] He appeared in 13 games and started two as a rookie. He finished with 17 total tackles and two passes defended.[7]
2022
Lenoir recorded his first career interception during a Week 13 victory against the Miami Dolphins, off of Dolphins' quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.[8] In the 2022 season, Lenoir finished with one sack, 79 total tackles, one interception, and five passes defended in 17 games and 13 starts.[9]
Lenoir recorded his first postseason interception in a 41–23 win in the Wildcard Round over the Seattle Seahawks[10] and a second one week later in a 19–12 Divisional Round victory over the Dallas Cowboys.[11] He finished the playoffs with 14 total tackles, two interceptions and two passes defended across 3 starts.[12]
2023
In the 2023 season, Lenoir started in all 17 games. He recorded 84 total tackles (58 solo), three interceptions, and ten passes defended.[13] In Super Bowl LVIII, he recorded eight total tackles and a forced fumble in the 25–22 overtime loss to the Chiefs.[14]
2024
In Week 5 of the 2024 season, Lenoir recorded his first career touchdown on a 61-yard blocked field goal return in a 24–23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.[15] On November 13, Lenoir signed a five–year, $92 million contract extension with the 49ers.[16]
