The 2024 European Parliament elections in Hungary were held on 9 June 2024 as part of the 2024 European Parliament election.[3] This was the first European election to take place after Brexit and on the same day as local elections.[4][5]

Background

The European Parliament considers Hungary a "hybrid regime of electoral autocracy" since 2022.[6]
