Pietà (Hangul : 피에타 ) adalah sebuah film Korea Selatan 2012. Sebagai film fitur ke-18 yang ditulis dan disutradarai oleh Kim Ki-duk , film tersebut mengisahkan tentang hubungan misterius antara seorang pria brutal yang bekerja untuk para tengkulak dan seorang wanita berusia menengah yang mengklaim bahwa ia adalah ibunya, mencampur simbolisme Kristen dan konten seksual yang tinggi.[ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 6] [ 7]

Judulnya merujuk kepada Pietà (piety /pity ) dalam bahasa Italia , sebuah penggambaran Bunda Maria sedang menggendong jenazah Yesus .

Film tersebut terjual di 20 negara untuk distribusi internasional, termasuk Italia, Jerman, Rusia, Norwegia, Turki, Hong Kong, dan Yunani.[ 30] Distributor independen, Drafthouse Films mendapatkan hak perilisan teatrikal di Amerika Utara.[ 31]
