Partai Komunis Rumania
Partai Komunis Rumania (Partidul Comunist Român, PCR) adalah partai komunis di Rumania. Pada tahun 1930-an, banyak aktivis partai ini yang dipenjarakan atau mengungsi ke Uni Soviet. Partai komunis muncul sebagai aktor kuat dalam drama politik Rumania pada Agustus 1944 ketika partai ini terlibat dalam kudeta yang dipimpin oleh Raja Mihai terhadap pemerintah Ion Antonescu yang pro-Nazi. Dengan dukungan dari tentara pendudukan Soviet, Partai Komunis Rumania berhasil memaksa Raja Mihai I kedalam pembuangan dan mendirikan rezim komunis di Rumania tahun 1948. Partai ini berkuasa di Rumania hingga meletusnya revolusi Rumania 1989 yang menjatuhkan rezim komunis Nicolae Ceauşescu.
