Nakajima Ki-27 merupakan pesawat tempur pertama Angkatan Udara Kekaisaran Jepang dengan model satu sayap (monoplane), satu pilot dan satu mesin, menjadikan jembatan antara model lama dengan model baru teknologi pesawat tempur. Nakajima Ki-27 pertama kali diproduksi pada tahun 1937 dan sukses mendominasi sebagai alat tempur pada awal periode peperangan ind-cina dan sekutu di pasifik.[2]
