Arctiinae (yang awalnya disebut Arctiidae) adalah sebuah subkeluarga besar dari ngengat dengan sekitar 11,000 spesies yang ditebukan di seluruh dunia, termasuk 6,000 spesies neotropis.[1] Kelompok ini meliputi kelompok yang umumnya dikenal sebagai ngengat harimau. Beberapa spesies memiliki ulat "berambut" yang secara populer dikenal sebagai beruang berbulu wol atau ulat berbulu wol. Nama saintifiknya merujuk kepada sebutan ini (Gk. αρκτος = seekor beruang).
