制作和开发

20世纪福克斯电视公司同的想象娱乐公司制作本片。两家公司曾经在2010年－2011年电视季尝试开发本剧[2][3]。两家公司先接洽编剧查德·霍奇，使得他成为了该剧的缔造者及执行制片人[2]。
