寐猎龙属
寐猎龙 (学名 :Hypnovenator ,意为“沉睡的猎人”)是伤齿龙科 兽脚类恐龙已灭绝 的一个属,来自日本早白垩世 (阿尔布阶 )大山下组 。属下包括单一物种 松大氏寐猎龙 (H. matsubaraetoheorum ),所知于一具不完整骨骼。寐猎龙是日本目前唯一已知的伤齿龙科,代表该演化支可确认的最古老成员。
发现与命名
寐猎龙模式产地
寐猎龙正模标本 MNHAH D1033340发现于日本兵库县 丹波篠山市 西古佐的大山下组 (下篠山群)沉积物。大部分已知材料是由一群业余化石猎人于2010年9月丹波并木道中央公园建设期间发现。次年由该县兵库县立人与自然博物馆 组织的后续考察发现一块属于同一个体的含化石石板。标本略微破碎,由中轴骨 及附肢骨骼 组成,包括两节带有人字骨 的尾椎 、两根肋骨 、几根腹肋骨 、大部分左臂(包括肱骨 、桡骨 、尺骨 、腕骨 、掌骨 及大部分指骨 和手爪骨 )及部分腿骨(包括部分左股骨 、胫骨 及腓骨 、右胫骨、两个距骨 、几个部分跖骨 及脚趾骨 )。[ 1]
正式描述之前,化石材料曾在2012及2023年的会议 摘要 中提及。[ 2] [ 3] 其亦于2024年初在《Research Square 》上发表的一份预印本 中以篠山寐猎龙 ("Hypnovenator sasayamaensis")之名提及。[ 4]
2024年中旬,久保田胜弘(Katsuhiro Kubota)、小林快次 (Yoshitsugu Kobayashi)及池田忠弘(Tadahiro Ikeda)根据此化石遗骸描述 了伤齿龙科恐龙新属新种松大氏寐猎龙(Hypnovenator matsubaraetoheorum )。属名 组合古希腊语 词汇“hypnos ”(意为“睡眠”)及拉丁语 词汇“venator ”(意为“猎人”),指正模标本所保存的类似寐龙 、中国鸟脚龙 等某些中国伤齿龙科的睡眠姿势。种名 致敬寐猎龙正模标本发现者松原薰(Kaoru Matsubara)与大和隆治(Takaharu Ohe)。[ 1] 寐猎龙代表日本第十二种有效命名的非鸟翼类恐龙。[ 5]
分类
久保田等人(2024年)将寐猎龙化石材料纳入塞里斯等人(2021年)的系统发育 数据集,[ 6] 后者本身是一项旨在检测手盗龙形态类所有主要类群的大型系统发育分析的衍生物。[ 7] 久保田等人将其恢复为原始 伤齿龙亚科 成员,并作为较年轻的蒙古戈壁猎龙 的姐妹群 ,使寐猎龙成为已知最古老的伤齿龙亚科。结果如以下分支图 所示:[ 1]

古生态学
同时期丹波巨龙的尾椎 寐猎龙发现于早白垩世 末阿尔布阶 早期至中期的大山下组(篠山群)。[ 1] 这些层位主要由砂岩 、泥岩 及砾岩 组成。沉积环境 代表拥有半湿润 至半干旱气候 的河流 系统。[ 10] 恐龙牙齿在该层各地都很常见,包括属于其它兽脚类(驰龙科 、镰刀龙下目 及暴龙超科 )及蜥脚类 、甲龙类 和禽龙类 的牙齿。[ 11] 已描述了几个蛋化石類群 ,包括姬蛋屬 、纖長蛋屬 、日本蛋屬 及稜柱形蛋屬 。[ 12] 该地层其它少数根据躯干化石命名的爬行类包括怪蜥类 的双刃齿蜥 及巨龙形类 蜥脚下目丹波巨龙 。[ 13] [ 14] 地层中还发现了包括几块颅骨骨骼在内的未命名新角龙类 化石。[ 15]
