เจมส์ มอนโร (อังกฤษ: James Monroe; 28 เมษายน 1758 – 4 กรกฎาคม 1831) เป็นรัฐบุรุษ ทนายความ นักการทูต และบิดาผู้ก่อตั้งสหรัฐ ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่งประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐคนที่ 5 ระหว่างปี 1817 ถึง 1825 โดยเป็นสมาชิกพรรคเดโมแครต–ริพับลิกัน เขาเป็นบิดาผู้ก่อตั้งคนสุดท้ายที่ดำรงตำแหน่งประธานาธิบดีและเป็นประธานาธิบดีคนสุดท้ายของราชวงศ์เวอร์จิเนีย

ประวัติ
