പലസ്തീൻ ദേശീയത

പലസ്തീൻ ജനതയുടെ സ്വയംനിർണ്ണയാവകാശവും പരമാധികാരവും ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ദേശീയവാദമാണ് പലസ്തീൻ ദേശീയത എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. [1] യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ സയണിസത്തിനെതിരായി രൂപപ്പെട്ട പലസ്തീൻ ദേശീയത പിന്നീട് അന്തർദേശീയതലത്തിൽ വികസിച്ചു. [2] പലസ്തീനിലെ ഇസ്രയേൽ രൂപീകരണത്തെ തള്ളിക്കളയുന്ന പ്രസ്ഥാനം ഗാസയിലെ ഈജിപ്ത് സ്വാധീനത്തെയും വെസ്റ്റ് ബാങ്കിലെ ജോർദാൻ അധീശത്വത്തെയും അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല.[3]

ദേശീയപ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ തുടക്കം

പലസ്തീനിയൻ എന്ന പദം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് ഫരീദ് ജോർജസ് കസബ് എന്ന ലബനീസ് ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ പണ്ഡിതനാണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ 1898-ൽ ഖലീൽ ബൈദാസ് ഈ പ്രയോഗം നടത്തിയിരുന്നതായി പിന്നീട് സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അതിന് മുൻപും ഫിലാസ്റ്റിനി എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. നിരവധി ആക്രമണങ്ങൾക്കും കയ്യേറ്റങ്ങൾക്കും ശേഷവും പലസ്തീൻ ജനത അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ തുടർന്നു[4][5]എന്ന് കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു. അറബി ഭാഷയും അറബ് സ്വത്വവും അവരെ ഏകീകരിച്ചു.[6]

അഖിം ഒലെസ്നിറ്റ്സ്കിയുടെ 'വിശുദ്ധഭൂമിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരണം' [7] വിവർത്തനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്റെ ആമുഖത്തിൽ ഖലീൽ ബീദാസ് 1898-ൽ "പലസ്തീനികൾ" എന്ന പദം ഉപയോഗിച്ചു.
